In your own bathtub at home you begin to move deeper into the relaxation response, and, with dry hands, in virtual Harbin your avatar walks out of the warm pool, decides not to go into the virtual Harbin Hot or Cold Pool, and walks over to the virtual Harbin sun deck, instead. Here there are around 20 avatars, some who are reading and others who are lying on the deck, bathing under the virtual Harbin sun. (The actual Harbin sun deck in the warm part of the year when people are hanging out, reminds me of a primates – e.g. common chimps or Bonobo chimps - in a forest resting together in a group in the sun). The immersive representational experience of being at virtual Harbin, and its effects symbolically – combine with the neurophysiological effects of being in the warm water at home, to create a very enjoyable experience. You begin to talk with an avatar you meet on the sun deck in virtual Harbin. …
