World University & School -
http://worlduniversity.wikia.com -
is a long river ahead (decades & centuries-long)
with much singing & dancing among learners & teachers aboard the knowledge crafts that are built.
It has two aspects:
1. an open Wikipedia-like teaching & learning one in ALL languages & countries,
2. a MIT-Reed College-like (for undergraduate conference method, academic focus for overachievers), online, interactive, accredited, free (Bachelors, Ph.D., Law, & M.D.) degrees, all of which will grow with & out of the WWWeb's infancy.
.. with an invitation to teach & learn at WUAS now, by editing a page.
*
World Univ & Sch is looking for overachieving, 18 year olds + students who love to read, write and do science and math, including programminb, for its first matriculating Bachelors' class in 2014 :)
(32 15 week long courses for a free degree) ...
*
In what ways can World Univ & Sch further turn learning at the college level (Bach degree) into 'music,' via the conference-method (talking around a table about ideas, seriously and to generate new ideas:) in academic disciplines vis-a-vis Reed College's Humanities, plus? http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Humanities - an outline for this method?
... multiple Skype or UStream windows for the conference method online ... how to find/create the professors / clerks / conductors to bring out everyone's voice in multiple academic subjects? (Is this teaching conference-style 'pedagogy'?)
KU:
Suppose I want to export your idea to Cambodia. Possible? How?
Scott:
Hi KU, I created two Cambodia-related wiki, WUaS pages - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Cambodia and http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Khmer . As you and others generate interest the Cambodian World University and School wiki could grow into a full, free, wiki, online university and school. Let's communicate further about this, but this is a beginning, with an invitation to add open, free teaching & learning resources about Khmer and Cambodia. All best, Scott
