I think tables and books are also technologies (replicating and predictable, to start, prior to information technologies?), appreciate Old Order Amish levels of technologies (right up to the Industrial Revolutions, in a way) a lot, and like the 'sociocultural technologies' of Waldorf education's effects on children's growth ...
