NYTimes (7/17/12) article on "Coursera: Universities Reshaping Education on the Web" - http://www.nytimes.com/2012/07/17/education/consortium-of-colleges-takes-online-education-to-new-level.html - exciting, but no talk of degrees or all 3,000-8,000 languages yet - and they've received so much money.

World University and School, by way of comparison, will be MIT OCW-centric (and edX - so especially HarvardX / MITx focused), plans to offer free, online bachelor (first in 2014), Ph.D., law and M.D. degrees, accrediting first in California and in as many countries as possible, and be an open people-to-people teaching and learning wiki in all 3000-8000 languages … http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/ ...

Some contributions WUaS can make to this conversation, besides as wiki, MIT OCW-centric, in all 3000-8000 languages and 200 countries:
