News

- World University and School has 'LIFT OFF' ... with a new university and school domain name - http://worlduniversityandschool.org/ - probably until WUaS becomes fully accredited in around 2018 (at the undergraduate level). Have a glance again at the 12 main areas on the new web site which are integral to WUaS as we develop. WUaS also has an additional new main email address: info@worlduniversityandschool.org. 

- World University and School received reinstatement of our 501 c 3 tax-exempt status. I've attached PDF scans of both parts of the IRS's letter. Please click the donate button on the new WUaS's web site - http://worlduniversityandschool.org. 

- MIT OCW-centric Creative Commons' licensed World University and School, which is also a wiki for open teaching and learning, is planning to offer its first free online undergraduate bachelor's degree course of study beginning in autumn 2015, where high school students would take 32 MIT OCW courses online - http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/audio-video-courses/ - at "The College at World University and School" (http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/The_College_at_World_University_and_School). Please share with high school students you know of and their parents about this free and MIT OCW-centric online college opportunity. 

- WUaS would also like to become a significant employer worldwide, and hire students as interns to grow WUaS. 

- WUaS invites your teaching and learning as wiki - teach to your web camera or click "edit this page" at WUaS.  

- WUaS is Free, wiki, and C.C. 3 MIT OCW-centric.

Thank you for joining the World University and School team. WUaS would like to invite you to participate in our hour-long, business meeting this Saturday, July 12th, beginning at 9 a.m., PDT / 12 noon EDT. 

This month we'll meet online in Free Conference Call.  And this month, I'll continue to send out a second email a few minutes prior to 9am PT with the phone number and access code, to our entire WUaS email list with the actual web address / URL of the Google + group video Hangout, as well as send a third email after business meeting with WUaS Minutes.

The next, open, hour-long, WUaS, monthly business meeting is on Saturday, August 9th, 2014, and will meet in Free Conference Call. 

For people on the sporadic, somewhat frequent, WUaS, email list, or who wish to be, WUaS is posting actively to both the WUaS Google Group (world-university-and-school@googlegroups.com), and the WUaS Yahoo Group (worlduniversityandschool@yahoogroups.com), both of which allow for daily and weekly digests. Please join these groups for daily and weekly digests. 

Concerning this WUaS team email list, we'll generally send out business meeting emails once a month. If you'd like to receive more frequent, sporadic, WUaS emails, please reply to this email telling me so.
