Dear L,
It seems like idea generation re World University and School has been generative e.g.
but not in terms of financial ideas that have realized revenue yet.
I'm curious to focus on this now - in real ways.
How would a partnership structure work legally re WUAS CC degrees and our WUaS businesses besides Creative Commons' licensing and best CC OpenCourseWare in many languages?
How to restructure?
The world understands partnership language especially in terms of business.
What would it involve as a nonprofit to restructure to become also a partnership - and to get monies in soon?
Sincerely,
Scott

Two precedents for the above are ...
CC MIT OCW "Readings" (in multiple languages?) with Amazon.com links
CC Wikipedia on the one hand and advertising-sponsored Wikia wiki, both headed by Jimmy Wales, and both seemingly entrepreneurially oriented.

So some of the following WUaS revenue streams would be Creative Commons' licensed World University-oriented, and others would involve partnerships with different legal and business structures ...
1 - fundraising from individuals, foundations, companies and governments plus, both in the U.S. and internationally ...
2 - an online bookstore / computer store for text- and course books, and learning resources, planned for all 7,929+ languages ...
3 - collaboration financially with governments in all 242+ countries in main languages in them, for free (since CC) and best STEM-centric OpenCourseWare University (Bachelor, Ph.D. Law, M.D., and I.B.), and high school, degrees ...
4 - an Academic Press - as well as academic journals planned for many of all 7,929+ languages
5 - lesson instruction beyond the wiki pages at the C.C. Music School at WUaS and the music instruction for the undergraduate and graduate WUaS music degrees - - and in all languages for music, as well as tutoring for best STEM-centric OpenCourseWare online degrees ...
6 - universal broadband internet connectivity - in collaboration with governments in all 242+ countries (and perhaps with Cisco or Google Fiber Optic as well), to facilitate universal education, and especially in the developing countries.
7 - planning to become an all-language academic online manpower jobs' source for our graduates and others

Thanks. It looks like according to Wikipedia that Jimmy Wales is -
ReplyDeletePresident of Wikia, Inc.
(2004–present)
Chairman of Wikimedia Foundation
(2003–2006)
Chairman emeritus, Wikimedia Foundation
(2006–present)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Wales -
so in a sense, as President and Chairman emeritus, he's heads of both.
Thanks for reading this blog.
Cheers,
