Dear Universitians and friends,

b) Emerging from the Berkeley Law "New Business Practicum" course this spring, World University is seeking to upgrade and develop our web site welcoming 17 year olds to apply this autumn from around the world, and matriculate online in the autumn of 2017, first in English - http:// worlduniversityandschool.org - for free CC undergraduate BA/BS degrees accrediting on CC MIT OpenCourseWare and CC Yale OYC to begin
c) Creative Commons' licensed WUaS further clarified that we can "share" and "adapt" CC MIT OCW in 7 languages and CC Yale OYC, under specific attributes, by adding this to a database such as Wikidata/Wikibase in about ~300 languages in an extended WUaS correspondence this spring with MIT Assistant Dean of Online Learning Cecilia d'Oliveira (who was executive director of CC MIT OCW for about 10 years before this)
d) WUaS is also hoping to emerge out of Wikidata/Wikibase as wiki schools for open teaching and learning this summer (WUaS donated WUaS to Wikidata last autumn)
e) Stanford and Cornell MBA graduate Rainey Hancock will join the WUaS Board of Advisors - http://worlduniversity. wikia.com/wiki/World_ University_Foundation - after seasoning this nomination in WUaS monthly business meeting
Universitians:
Thank you for joining the World University and School team. WUaS invites you to participate in our open, hour-long, monthly, business meeting on Saturday, May 14th, beginning at 9 a.m., Pacific Time / 12 noon ET.
I'd like to invite you to WUaS's monthly business meeting this Saturday, May 14th at 9am PT (2nd Saturdays of the month, hour-long and electronically mediated) if you'd like to learn further how WUaS makes decisions, plans and works, and participate in this process.
The agenda for the upcoming Saturday, May 14th, 2016 WUaS, monthly, business meeting is here - http://
I've attached WUaS's financial report for April 2016 in this WUaS business meeting email.
World University and School is looking for a new, Board member, for example, to focus on fundraising, and to actually bring in significant monies for WUaS.
The next, open, hour-long, WUaS, monthly business meeting is on Saturday, June 11th, 2016.
And this month I'll continue to send out a second email after business meeting with WUaS Minutes.
You'll also find some previous monthly business meetings (conducted electronically in the manner of F/friends) as examples in Google Hangouts here - http://scottmacleod.com/
For people on the sporadic, somewhat frequent, WUaS, email list, or who wish to be, WUaS is posting actively to both the WUaS Google Group (world-university-and-school@
Concerning this WUaS team email list, we'll generally send out business meeting emails once a month. If you'd like to receive more frequent, sporadic, WUaS emails, please reply to this email telling me so. If you could, please REPLY with UNSUBSCRIBE, or an alternative email address, if you wish NOT to receive WUaS's emails, or receive them in a different email account, - and WUaS would be very grateful.
World University and School is planning to become the MIT / Harvard / Yale / Stanford / Oxbridge of the Internet, and in all 7,097+ languages and 204+ countries (in recent Olympics), with online, Creative Commons' licensed MIT OCW-centric, university degrees in large languages.

Thank you again for your generous donations in helping grow World University and School.
Sincerely,

Great ideas, Prasanna - but how? I'll give this - "get hold of some bigwigs in Apple, Google, Microsoft or Facebook, all sitting in Bay Area, to release a few millions, for your far reaching work, in education and skill development, teaching everyone to fish!" - some further thought, and bring it to WUaS's Monthly Business Meeting which meets tomorrow 5/14 at 9 am PT in a conference call (but which is a little too late in India, and we're also not meeting internationally in group video this monty).
Rainey Hancock, an incoming WUaS Advisor Board Member has wisely suggested getting hold of former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice at Stanford, a Professor there, but I simply haven't been over to Stanford recently to reach out to her. It would be amazingly great to get President Barack Obama on our WUaS Board after he's out of office in early 2017, for example, too. Welcome, Rainey!
Board members, how best to get in touch with "bigwigs in Apple, Google, Microsoft or Facebook, all sitting in Bay Area, to release a few millions?"
Thank you, and with very best wishes, Scott
