Dear Jennifer and Karen (and Lisa),
Thank you, Jennifer, for your far-reaching talk about health care in Vietnam - https://events.stanford.edu/ev ents/680/68033/. And very nice to meet you, as well.
Let's stay in touch and about the online CC MIT OCW- and Yale OYC-centric Vietnam World University and School - http://worlduniversity.wikia. com/wiki/Nation_States - in the Vietnamese language - http://worlduniversity.wikia. com/wiki/Languages (each language becoming a wiki school for open teaching and learning in all 7,097 living languages) - with each nation states' WUaS university planning to offer online Bachelor, Ph.D., law and M.D. degrees, as well as I.B. high school diplomas in main and official languages. I'd be very interested in explore how this might dovetail with further related global health studies in Vietnam such as the one you shared today - and re your collaborators as well, Jennifer.
As examples, Karen and Jennifer, here too are some wiki CC MIT OCW-centric World University and School universities and their links before WUaS moves to a new wiki emerging from Wikidata, (which is Wikipedia's structured knowledge database, in 358 languages). As you know, CC MIT OCW is in Chinese - https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/ translated-courses/ -
China World University and School -
China Law School at WUaS -
Mandarin language (Chinese) WUaS -
And while the beginning Vietnam and China Medical Schools at WUaS aren't yet begun, here is the beginning of them in English - http://worlduniversity.wikia. com/wiki/World_University_ Medical_School - and here, too, is the beginning online teaching hospital - http://worlduniversity. wikia.com/wiki/Hospital - planning furthermore to define online clinical practice and care. (WUaS is also planning a STEM Universal Translator, building on Google Translate / GNMT).
Again, the above schools are in their beginning stages, and WUaS hopes to move into a new wiki with the Wikidata database soon, as well as develop in Google Education and its related ecosystem.
It will be interesting too to explore ways in which WUaS might further generate data and studies that parallel, and come into conversation with, the data and study in your talk, Jennifer, as well as your research in China, Karen.
Lisa, would it be possible please to get a copy of the Jennifer's slides?
Looking forward to staying in touch. Thank you!
All the best,
Scott
