Walpole Wilderness Area: Online Teaching Hospitals in all Countries' Official Languages' Collaboration between Stanford Medicine and WUaS Medical Schools?, Stanford Medicine's FND Clinical Trial in Virtual Reality, For this WUaS teaching hospital in multiple languages in a Google Streetview + realistic virtual world, for example, remote surgery could occur (first in veterinary medicine situations) re Stanford's SIMECII, Example of my Harbin Hot Springs' field site in Google Streetview - before it develops, Online libraries - for medicine especially - in all 8,444 languages and for STEM research, Google's ecosystem would make possible TensorFlow and Google Neural Machine Translation among many, many other scalable AI / machine learning big data online teaching hospital developments

... re http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2017/05/currumbin-wildlife-sanctuary-online.html.

Exciting to see that Stanford Medicine is doing a clinical trial on FND in VR - https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT02764476 - which I found here - http://med.stanford.edu/psychiatry/patient_care/vrc.html - and in the - https://www.psious.com/ - digital mask.

It would be great to talk further about co-developing online teaching hospitals in all countries' official languages in a WUaS Medical Schools / Stanford Medicine VR collaboration. Conceptually, this would be like Google Streetview/Maps/Earth with Time Slider, with OpenSim/Second Life (but realistic) for group build-ability and avatars, and in all 8k languages, and also at the cellular and atomic levels.

For the cellular / molecular level and brain-research (potentially with brainwave headsets for studies, for example, from people's homes in all ~ 8,444 languages - per Glottolog), think Thomas Dean's Google Brain research (https://research.google.com/pubs/author189.html and https://archive.org/details/Redwood_Center_2013_04_19_Tom_Dean), and at the atomic / nano levels, think MIT's Ed Boyden's work on expansion microscopy (https://www.media.mit.edu/research/highlights/expansion-microscopy and https://twitter.com/eboyden3) - all coming together in brain modeling in this realistic virtual earth, for example. Another part of this collaboration would include developing this realistic virtual earth for STEM research - for what I'm calling ethno-wiki-virtual-world-graphy (http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/search/label/ethno-wiki-virtual-world-graphy) where STEM researchers in many languages could add their computer modeling, carry out studies, and add data  - and which would also be "classrooms" in all languages.

For this teaching hospital in multiple languages in this Google Streetview + realistic virtual world,  for example, remote surgery could occur (first in veterinary medicine situations) re Stanford's SIMECII - http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2017/05/frigatebird-saw-my-first-robotic.html.

Here's an example of my Harbin Hot Springs' field site in Google Streetview - https://twitter.com/HarbinBook (top left link) - before it develops (which is what my recent actual / virtual ethnographic book is about - http://bit.ly/HarbinBook).

WUaS also seeks to develop online libraries - for medicine especially - in all 8,444 languages and for STEM research (and matriculated students re scientific journals) in something like Google Streetview with time slider. See, for example - http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2017/03/verreauxs-eagle-moving-digital-objects.html.

Google's ecosystem would make possible TensorFlow and Google Neural Machine Translation among many, many other scalable AI / machine learning big data online teaching hospital developments.

Looking forward to communicating further about this.

Best, Scott
