Greetings ... Thanks Ed for your nice words earlier today.
Aging reversal gene drug therapy possibilities change things in seeking a life partner possibly ... Might I meet an incoming 27 yo UCSF resident on an incoming-residents' hike with people from outside UCSF for example - or even if WUaS Medicine might develop closer ties with UCSF Medicine? Might she know genomics and the genetics of aging reversal even? Might she have some hippy even flower child ways of being in her (S so wanted to become a mid-wife, and A was kind of hippy oriented too in clothing +).
- and while this is a flashy video, and the FitBit 5 doesn't seem practically helpful yet (to my way of thinking), George Church's video popped up at the end of this 30 seconds' Youtube film, and it makes me wonder how such a measuring device could be coded even for aging reversal behaviors - ie exercise or Yoga asana or pranayama (breathing) even - perhaps in conjunction with an emerging aging reversal genetic drug vaccine. Ie, with this possible vaccine inside us in 5 years, what could we do movement-wise, and meditation-wise, to reverse our age (somehow working behaviorally with the aging reversal drug)? Perhaps just staying fit - and with measurements for this - would be an untutored hypothesis, but maybe the FitBit could even become a daily aging reversal genetic drug adding via AI, device (with related measurements too:).
What do you think?

- what 'SpO2 (blood oxygen)' levels could refer to, and even whether this has a history with what Herbert Benson MD - (I've heard him referred to as HERB :) having been around in the 1960s and '70s, in in the Harvard Medical School:) was measuring when seeking to study meditation scientifically in around 1970, '71, '72 as the lowered oxygen levels in the body associated with the relaxation RESPONSE, aka his finding for meditation. This response is an interesting 'goal' I seek to ELICIT daily when I meditate first thing upon arising.
Brainstorming-wise, I'm not suggesting in this blog post, from this thread -
http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2021/08/amur-leopard.html?m=0 - that wearing a FitBit watch in the future could be a gene adding information technology into our bodyminds that could lead to reversing aging (and also for diagnosis). And I'm also not suggesting that an endangered Amur leopard could wear such a watch and become as young as the leopard cub or kitten in the main pic behind title, - which would be wild indeed - but I am wondering whether, via such a device, we'd be able to DIY wiki-edit our own genomes in something like Wikitree single family tree database software ... https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/MacLeod-2524 ... Into what we wanted ... & even for all 7.8 billion people (re equality too!:) Would you want to be 30 yo again at 220 body age - and healthier than now?:)
What do you think?

Amur leopard (Panthera pardus orientalis): Some possible news on the gene adding front (per George Church) too, and per potential aging reversal genetic drug therapies esp - Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) @MIT "Scientists harness human protein to deliver molecular medicines to cells: ..." * 19:19 minutes - why aging reversal relative to longevity - don't want to live with sickness * * This new FitBit 5 'fitness monitor watch' seems to be behavior measurement oriented on the wrist - George Church's video popped up at the end of this 30 seconds' Youtube film, and it makes me wonder how such a measuring device could be coded even for aging reversal behaviors - ie exercise or Yoga asana or pranayama (breathing) even - perhaps in conjunction with an emerging aging reversal genetic drug vaccine * * * What could 'SpO2 (blood oxygen)' levels refer to in this new FitBit5 video, and even whether this has a history with what Herbert Benson MD was measuring when seeking to study meditation scientifically in around 1970, '71, '72 as the lowered oxygen levels in the body associated with the relaxation RESPONSE, aka his finding for meditation -
I'm a Harvard prof of genetics' GEORGE CHURCH appreciator, and think related research may have been jumpstarted dramatically over the past 17 months of coronavirus pandemic ...

I'm also wondering new tools for such research will emerge in a single realistic virtual earth (for genetics and IT interoperability) -
If you're using commercial wearables for research, this might be of interest to you. Exporting data from a fixed time period, at different points in time, doesn't give you the same data. This is why @BeiwePlatform collects raw data. More details here: https://t.co/H8EK9znMzApic.twitter.com/AecT5vtRE3
Our 3rd annual Data Science symposium will take place in Boston on Nov 5 with the theme "Smartphones, Wearables, and Health". Speakers from the NIH, academia, and industry. Registration is now open! Abstract submission deadline Oct 5.https://t.co/bdBelbQutBpic.twitter.com/WvGDgbQIr6
