Cathy, Ann, Tim,
Goshawk fledgling in tree at Wisdom Creek Ranch
After our hike to see Gosling habitat, and also check out a motion detector camera attached to a tree, in which pictures we saw deer, red-tailed hawk, turkeys, skunk, fox, cattle, and more species ...

Haven't looked for (so didn't find) any resources for sexing sandhill cranes ... but please wiki-add to this new WUaS wiki subject page if you see such resources. And while the Cornell Ornithology class isn't free (and WUaS seeks primarily to wiki-add highest quality, free resources), might this course be of interest to you for your PhD?
And here's the #RealisticVirtualEarthForSpecies #Hashtag in Twitter ... which realistic virtual earth for everything will hopefully emerge in Google Street View with time slider / Maps, Earth with TensorFlow AI >...
Very nice to meet you.
Regards,
Scott
