Some new law and robotics possibilities re calling for abolition ?
... with Stanford economics' Prof Mark Duggan interviewing in -
"Associates Meeting with Cecilia Rouse, Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers"
Good day, Ma!
Scott MacLeod <sgkmacleod@gmail.com>

to Jane
Good day, Ma!
A good friend and one who might become a friend and life partner and mother to my kids could be great ...
Abolition of the wrongful buying and selling of people (modern forms of slavery) might increase the possibilities of this even somehow (and out west here) ... sad to write ...
This ...
' ...might increase the possibilities of this ...'
'this' being my (and others too) finding a life partner, friend and wife who is simpatico :)
And some of this could be law enforcement related, and regarding both state of California and federal government legal processes working together related. (In a related vein, you might also be interested in this recent Stanford interview with Celia Rouse, Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers
with Stanford economics' Prof Mark Duggan -
Associates Meeting with Cecilia Rouse, Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers
https://youtu.be/iO2iEmW72Ig -
and mentioning the gig economy law in a new way. She's originally from nearby Walnut Creek CA and is also a Prof at Princeton University. Only heard part of this .... And am deeply concerned that the talk of the gig economy law from a federal government office holder could for example inform somehow also murder (and assault?), in addition to changes in Law regarding the illegal drug and sex industries internationally and their latent networks of violence; perhaps the book I gave you at Christmas, 'Klara and the Sun' about 'Artificial Friends,' AFs, and Robotics could help this dismal discourse further). Am still recalling how the main character was lifted (genetically modified) which was really her being sick all the time, a kind of 'fallen' too - could botched genetic modification be covered under possible gig economy law? What about law enforcement here, re Genetics drugs? What do you think about this and regarding federal government, state, and even regarding international law, all working together (differentially), and also regarding Pennsylvania and Massachusetts and Maine And federal law?
But a 23 years' old wife and friend could be great ...
I had the impression in talking last night that regarding moving forward into a safe Canyon house would be something others could be working on (eg UC Berkeley Chancellor - Carol Christ came to mind) ... but I don't find the 'good night' thinking regarding its tragedies and nightmares very interesting or attractive ... in general...
You mentioned the word 'balance' regarding some of the articles and writing you read in the NYM and NYT ... I was reminded of the balance word here - http://www.scottmacleod.com/yoganotations.html .. Regarding sexuality and Yoga and ethics and psychiatry too in these Yoga Notations ...
Friends seem to be far from the making here in the SF Bay Area curiously these days ... Is it the culture? An unfriendly culture (eg compared with Pittsburgh for my high school years and Portland Oregon for my college years, for example, or a good or great Cuttyhunk .. or Philadelphia at the Quaker Pendle Hill Center for SW study and Contemplation ) ... ? Possibly ... Possible to generate friends anew here in the SF Bay Area? Possibly
Making friends with my wife to be? Hmmm ❤️
How?
Love, Scott
