Is #Consciousness an intractable #scientific & #philosophical set of questions -such that a 20% chance of #DigitalSentience in 10 years seems improbable? But do #NicholasHumphrey @Humphren's 8 books on #Sentience & #BlindSight in Apes offer #PhysicalDigital #distinction & #coding poss.?

not a bad summary of my #NeurIPS2022 talk -- though the headline is perhaps elevating a rough subjective probability estimate beyond its station.

Wow, #DigitalSentience in 10 years?

Just built and programmed my first primate robot with Lego Robotics kit WeDo 2.0 NEWLY with the Scratch programming language and not with the Lego kits' Block programming language .... And it works ... Kinda cool ... with much promise ahead for building Robots with Scratch programming due to new developments since I got this WeDo 2.0 kit a few years ago :) ... And it could be interesting for my (and your Ma) grandkids too :)
... here in World Univ & Sch's MIT Scratch web site ...
https://scratch.mit.edu/users/ScottWorldUnivAndSch
(but not here https://scratch.mit.edu/users/helianth)
Pictures to come ...
It's of a primate and with some promise of building with Lego Robotics' human primates in the future, creatively ... ()
I used these helpful tutorials -
Lesson: Gorilla with LEGO WeDo 2.0 and Scratch -
Lesson: Gorilla with LEGO WeDo 2.0 and Scratch Part 2 - Create the robot
https://youtu.be/_8jm5OYa83M
Lesson: Gorilla with LEGO WeDo 2.0 and Scratch Part 3 - Check how it works

And again regarding this Tweet from recently (and posted to this blog) ... I USED a TILT sensor ...
Am seeing a couple of #LegoRoboticsSensors in pic. In what ways Could millions of #WUaSstudents create #WUaSLegoRobots help to create 1 #RealisticVirtualEarth from or in a #RealisticVirtualUniverse w #sensorshttps://t.co/AlXyuf8pdK #RealisticVirtualEarthForLegoRobotics #WUaSioT? https://t.co/X1koLKpzxI
