New breakthrough quantum algorithm published in
@Nature
today: Our Willow chip has achieved the first-ever verifiable quantum advantage.
Willow ran the algorithm - which we’ve named Quantum Echoes - 13,000x faster than the best classical algorithm on one of the world's fastest supercomputers. This new algorithm can explain interactions between atoms in a molecule using nuclear magnetic resonance, paving a path towards potential future uses in drug discovery and materials science.
And the result is verifiable, meaning its outcome can be repeated by other quantum computers or confirmed by experiments.
This breakthrough is a significant step toward the first real-world application of quantum computing, and we're excited to see where it leads.

I keep reading "No Connection Retry" on my smartphone beginning yesterday around 5, about when I went into the Claremont Berkeley public library in south Berkeley (leaving just after 6 when that long-haired hippy librarian whom I wondered whether he was possibly somehow involved in the illegal sex industry out of that library started hanging around where I was sitting, and after that cop car pulled up to the corner where I was a week or two ago, and then a block and a half down the street, was out of his car with his smartphone out pointing across the street toward me I think) . What to do? How can I hack this to rewrite this error message, resynchronize the 2 computer's google mail ... and continue to develop MIT OCW-centric wiki World Univ & Sch further efficiently ? How might you or I run a little program to increase security in my google email between these 2 computers to prevent this possible troll hacking in the future - and even by asking Gemini AI to help with this in voice?
