Scott MacLeod's Anthropology of Information Technology & Counterculture

Piping plover (Charadrius melodus): Happy birthday, Jen MacLeod Murray - Tu October 13, 2026, my Quaker cousin in the greater Pennsylvania area, daughter of my great Uncle Bruce (Vincent MacLeod) * As a contemporary Friendly NtF Quaker abolitionist, and conscientious objector still, Friendly-informed World University and School continues to grow a worldwide abolition movement and to abolish the wrongful buying and selling of people in the illegal sex, drugs, violence, car theft, military targeting industries internationally, and their latent networks of violence, and so to knock back international organized crime - and to protect people, as WUaS seeks to code for all 7.9 billion people on the planet, each a Wikidata PIN # from here - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/You_at_World_University - and to facilitate free universal education with free WUaS degrees, wiki too, and potentially to end poverty worldwide too, eg by distributing Stanford Mine Pi cryptocurrency - https://minepi.com/?u=sgkmac - to most people on the planet, and especially say the poorest billion. As a further birthday greetings, may I share with you John Woolman's Journal, a Harvard classic - The journal and essays of John Woolman (1774) https://archive.org/details/journalessaysofj00wool/page/n9/mode/2up https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/37311 * PS interesting: @GeoChurch at #HarvardARDD suggested 90% of people will die ... Plan then @WorldUnivAndSch for ~1 billion #AvatarAgentEMR #DigitalHealthTwins for immortality? regarding reasonable speculations?: @GeoChurch on 10/2 @ #HarvardARDD said 90% of people will die, i.e. because FDA approved #ExtremeLongevity #GeneticDrugTherapies won't have emerged by 2050??? * * * * * Sunday, October 18, 2026 And regarding also the other bagpiping email thread possibly also from my cousin Jen MacLeod Murray I think (although it could have been written by someone or some agentic AI otherwise ) - Dear Jen (MacLeod Murray, my 1st cousin in the greater Philadelphia area and a Quaker teacher I think at Frankford Friends' school, & all re this e-birthday party in a sense), As a further Happy Birthday followup, and possible birthday greetings too for the centuries and even longer ahead with genetic drug therapies emerging, FDA approved - re also Quaker birthday greetings, re your LinkedIN profile too, and communicating as a MacLeod and Brown / Briscoe family here -
