Robert and Lisbeth,

Thanks for sharing this article - "Freedom Rider Asks To Give Peace A Chance - Peace Tax Fund Act Of 2013" ... http://www.forbes.com/sites/peterjreilly/2013/07/23/freedom-rider-asks-to-give-peace-a-chance-peace-tax-fund-act-of-2013/ . I added the following comment with some Peace and F/friendly, wiki, subject pages at WUaS to this Forbes' Magazine article in its comments.

"Thanks for this article about the Peace Tax Fund, Peter Reilly. I added it as a reference to World University and School here on the

Peace and Social Justice, wiki, Subject page -

http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Peace_and_Social_Justice_Studies - as well as the -

Nonviolence, wiki, Subject page -

http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Ahimsa_-_Nonharming_-_Nonviolence_-_To_avoid_violence - and the -

Quakers, wiki, Subject page -

I also added this to the WUaS 'Banking and Money' wiki page -

http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Banking_and_Money -

since the US Department of Treasury calculated that this Peace Tax Fund will bring in revenues to the U.S. government.

Quaker-informed WUaS is editable, and is like Wikipedia with MIT OCW, with free, http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/audio-video-courses/ university degrees planned."

Thank you, again,

This article and the Peace Tax Fund are interesting examples of F/friends acting as witnesses to their consciences, - on the long-time Quaker issue of war tax resistance (like abolitionism), - to actually and innovatively change a law and a tax code, in the name of peace.
