This blog post combines some resources on Digital Cryptocurrencies with Blockchain Ledger, or Distributed Ledger Technologies, with some thoughts about a new California stock exchange, called the Long Term Stock Exchange or LTSE, and MIT OCW-centric wiki World University and School plans to code for all 7.5 billion people on the planet as wiki teachers and learners, but also as potentially digital currency users. WUaS seeks to explore how to alleviate poverty by distributing a single crypto currency backed by some number of central banks via Universal Basic Income experiments.

Dear Larry,
Just looked up further ... 'plans for long-term stock market California - LTSE' - the so-called Silicon Valley stock exchange
Could the WUaS Press be a founding company on this stock exchange ? Since I think WUaS is very long term oriented investing-wise re a kind of index investing (and socially responsible too, in a Friendly sense) approach, it seems like an opening.
Looks like:
"U.S. regulators approve new Silicon Valley stock exchange"

https://ltse.com
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Long-Term_Stock_Exchange
Here's an interview with Eric Ries, the LTSE's founder - https://youtu.be/x6DYUanRdGE ...

WUaS being in California could open legal possibilities re the state of California in these regards.
Sincerely, Scott
PS
Am curious too how this would dovetail with a developing single cryptocurrency in some number of ~200 countries and their official languages ...

And regarding US presidential candidate Andrew Yang's legacy ... regarding even ... UBI experiments ... and potentially 1 digital currency post Euro and Dollar?
Here's a Swiss article on digital taxes and OECD (in German - https://translate.google.com/)?
"Digital tax: The OECD as a modern tax steward"

And how would regulating the Pi cryptocurrency, for example, in the Google Play Store in Europe with online law classes teaching about this re GDP there - (about which we talked in WUaS MBM, and I touched on in the Minutes - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2020/02/eclectus-parrot-minutes-for-sat-feb-15.html) ?
Much more about where Andrew Yang brought the US conversation about UBI here -

Hi Philipp (Law Pilot), Roland (Stanford Law CodeX) and Maeve, (and Larry),
This article just appeared yesterday in World Univ & Sch's daily Twitter Newsletter (via Paper.li), which I don't control or edit (and am not sure who or what chooses the daily article and photo+) -
Sweden’s Central Bank Finally Embraces DLT, But Only in Simulation Mode
https://www.coindesk.com/ swedens-central-bank-finally- embraces-dlt-but-only-in- simulation-mode
https://www.coindesk.com/
I was able to create a Twitter post that connects this article with the WUaS Twitter newspaper here -
I think Riksbank is Sweden's central bank:
"The Riksbank is Sweden's central bank. We ensure that money retains its value and that payments can be made safely and efficiently. We also issue banknotes ... " per https://www.riksbank.se/ en-gb/.
Am curious how WUaS Law Schools in all ~200 countries' official languages, and potentially in collaboration with Stanford Law CodeX and Law Pilot regarding its GDPR compliance courses could explore what's developing here - and in terms of courses, law schools, as well as WUaS plans for, brainstorming-wise, a Wikidata PIN # for each of all 7.5 billion people on the planet and regarding UBI experiments, partly to DISTRIBUTE a single digital currency backed by some number of ~200 countries' central banks (with the Euro in 19 out of 28 countries being a building block here).
Part of the question here is how might 'compliance courses for lawyers et al.,' regulating, hypothetically, the Pi cryptocurrency which is available "off the shelf" (from the Google Play Store) be regulated by the GDPR in the EuroZone ... and potentially regarding, Distributed Ledger Technologies (DLT), which are Blockchain ledger distributed systems, European Union currency law, and Law Pilot courses - and in WUaS Law Schools in each of all 28 EU countries - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/World_University_Law_School.
All the best, Scott
Am including an email below to the chair of the WUaS Board, Larry Viehland, which I sent last night regarding this and much more (and will blog about this tomorrow probably - and in the UBI label).

Google, which World University and School is in - in Google Education, for ex. - just emailed this, including:
"As the United Kingdom (UK) is leaving the European Union (EU), Google LLC will be the service provider for end users in your domain that are based in the UK. Google LLC will be responsible for all user information and data in Additional Services, and for complying with applicable privacy laws. ..."
I think this could have many implications for the "Pi" cryptocurrency, as an App especially (and created by Stanford Ph.D.s and graduate students), and regarding it being available 'off the shelf' from the online Google Play Store, and in Britain, with different laws governing corporations (as well as regarding the deregulation & economic liberalization there beginning in the lat 1980s and into the 1990s), differentially from Europe.
