to Fred, Reshma, bcc: me
Dear Fellow Educators,
We are overjoyed to have over 198 registrations for today's session. We feel sorry for those who could not join the session due to the Google Meet limit. Today we reached the max capacity of the Google Meet that is 100 participants. We promise this will not happen again.
Though we prefer to have a meet session but henceforth if we have more registrations then we will select to stream the session that will give chance to everyone to join.
Thank you for your email, Vishal. And thank you Fred, Reshma and Vishal for the great, easy-to-use Google Jamboard session today - from Africa, India and California!
Jamboard is an amazing information technology for collaboration with sticky notes +
Greetings. How are you? It looks like this event is at 7:30 am Pacific Time (in the SF Bay area) this Saturday, March 27, 2021, (which is doable) but I'm not sure if I'm a registered member of the GEG Ahmedabad group, making registration more complicated. How can I tell if I'm registered, please? It would be great if this registration process were really, really simple, I think.
Here's the beginning also of MIT OCW-centric wiki Kenya World University and School -
Thank you so much participants for taking your valuable time to attend todays session.I am sorry, there was an abrupt power balckout midstream of the session.
Much apppreciation for the good and amazing job Dr.Varia and Ms.Reshma are doing on behalf of GEG Pune and GEG Ahmedabad.
Congratulations to Scotte MacLeod for creating your first Jamboard on a smartphone device.

Third matriculating Bachelor degree class - free-to-students' and 4 years' long (accrediting and licensing in the state of California) - is emerging this autumn, in new World Univ & Sch partnering with edX ... stay tuned about applying / registering with something like https://authn.edx.org/register - but at CC-4 MIT OCW-centric wiki World University and School.
And edX is integrating its Dashboard into WUaS G-Suite for Education, so these free-to-students' Bachelor - and newly PhD - Degree opportunities will be Google-centric in part!
- CC World University and School - like CC Wikipedia with best STEM-centric CC OpenCourseWare - incorporated as a nonprofit university and school in California, and is a U.S. 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt educational organization.

Coronavirus skepticism ... and further reasons

to David
David,
Since you've been in KP for 4 or 5 years, you might be interested in this following email I just sent to my (best, out here) friend KP Dr. Ed Smyth MD and my mother. ...
Scott
Hi Ed, (Ma),
What are you up to, and how are you? Very nice to hike with you in Wildcat Canyon recently ...
What's your read on what Massachusetts' regulations ARE for people flying in from California (and stopping in Chicago or at Another stopover) regarding requiring the coronavirus vaccine?
Just emailed my mother in a related vein:
"Confirming my further skepticism (since there don't seem to be any consistent Massachusetts regulations or guidelines), here's a Tweet from MIT Medical suggesting that in order for MIT students to return to physical campus this autumn, they need to get a shot ...
ICYMI: Visit http://now.mit.edu for updated information on travel reentry requirements for MIT community members who have traveled outside of Massachusetts and live or work on campus.

Will ask my Kaiser Permanente primary care physician on M 4/5 what his read on MA regulations from CA ARE for coronavirus vaccine, - and maybe I can even get it at the KP clinic / hospital site called P.S., after my physical in person physically (even though the KP Representative on the phone in making appt. said they don't offer the shot there - go figure further ... Is this protective of members' Kaiser Permanente medical practice re possibly unnecessary vaccines (re in case of emergency et al hypothesEs ?) Wouldn't want side effects of an unnecessary vaccine to lower my sperm count, make me infertile or similar re innumerable possible side effects - with no time whatsoever in the past year to run effective clinical trials in the jump start rush to generate a common cold vaccine in the genetic engineering revolution :)
Where's the EVIDENCE re long term side effects at the mRNA molecular level (not seeking any hypothetical 'thalidomide kids' re caveat emptor/buyer beware? (And where's your protective skepticism, Ma? And why can't we reason about this in conversation, Ma?:):) Will touch base about this with my MD in 10 days :)
Thank you!
Love, Scott "
Just now received this email from my mother -
"From today’s Pittsburgh Post Gazette: Article says that California Governor GN has announced that anyone over fifty will be eligible for vaccination beginning next week. Just a FYI.
Love, Ma"
Appreciating Ed too .... an 'evangelist' for said vaccine
If getting the vaccine, or saying I got a negative SARSCov2 test, could act as a 'passport' (at least in my mother's mind, for ex. - ... re heading to MA in July or late June, I'd consider it, but am in general a bit in the anti-vaccine camp, - and re scientific skeptical orientation.
... visit Cuttyhunk together this July, I wonder, in some of these regards? :) (And is this a good idea even? . . . and ... by any chance seeing a therapist MD, I wonder?)
Thoughts, questions, ideas, suggestions, science? - in a climate or context of an internet information campaign designed to do many things but not necessarily respond to a current more-dangerous-than-the-common-cold virus?
This further contributes to my Coronavirus skepticism, for ex. -
School in the corona pandemic
Tests still in test mode
With two quick tests per week, the schools should be able to stay open. But there has been a lack of procurement for weeks - what's going on? RALF PAULI
Countries are still figuring out what they're testing for ... the information internet campaign is also riddled with contradictions genetically, and contradictory language ...
