Philosophy
My role as a teacher is to provide a forum that facilitates students to think and question – and play, have fun and converse in their learning - and to recognize that the world can’t be reduced to a right or wrong or black and white argument.
The world is messy and complicated, and I seek to teach in a way that facilitates students navigating in the world, potentially with language.
Cultural differences that form people’s understanding of concepts that we take for granted - such as law, justice, and morality - become a focus in my teaching, and part of critical thinking as learning for my students.
I seek to encourage students to open their eyes, think for themselves, and ask critical questions.
In many ways, my wiki World University & School teaching philosophy, and regarding Lego Robotics - https://scott-macleod.
