Lego Robotics in Maker Spaces at Bucknell University & collaborations with MIT OCW-centric wiki World Univ & Sch as well? ~ Interim Provost Margot Vigeant & #Hashtags on Twitter: #FarhajShahid #AhmadRehman #AbdullahNabi) from Pakistan and all native speakers of the Urdu language (a lingua franca there), all Bucknell STEAM (science, technology, engineering, ARTS, and mathematics') students too
******************************
Dr. Margot Vigeant,
Interim Provost, Professor of Chemical Engineering
Bucknell University
Lewisburg, PA 17837
mvigeant@bucknell.edu
Provost Office Hours: Wednesdays 4:00-5:00 & Thursdays 3:30-5:00
MIT OCW-centric wiki World Univ & Sch is seeking to hire and employ about 2.5 million people over the next 50-75 years, and WUaS would be open to further communication with Bucknell University in the future, as WUaS seeks to code for all 7.9 billion people on the planet in all 200 countries and in their main languages each a Wikidata PIN # from here - https://wiki.
Regarding Lego Robotics on college campuses, I was glad to meet at Bucknell 2 Fridays ago in a Bucknell chess gathering, "Chess and Chill", Farhaj, Ahmad, and Abdullah above (#Hashtags on Twitter: #FarhajShahid #AhmadRehman #AbdullahNabi) from Pakistan and all native speakers of the Urdu language (a lingua franca there), all Bucknell STEAM (science, technology, engineering, ARTS, and mathematics') students too ... and Farhaj is a very good chess player ... and we talked at length about MIT OCW-centric wiki World Univ & Sch ... and also about Lego Robotics and the possibly introducing PLAYFUL LEGO ROBOTICS to Bucknell Univ in collaboration with these chess people ... and for Bucknellians learning FREE computer coding, and computer science, via the drag and drop visual MIT Media Lab and Harvard GSHE's new Scratch programming language, which is interoperable with Lego Robotics ... as well as them becoming heads of Pakistan World Univ & Sch eventually ... and even beginning Physical-Digital WUaS Educational Services' Stores (eg for retail, and and with WUaS planning to grow to larger than WM's ~2.3 million employees in about ~25 countries in the next decades) in Pakistan in Urdu and possibly introducing Bucknell Lego Robotics' to Pakistanis in Urdu leading into free university degrees in Urdu too there with students studying from home (and see the PS below regarding Arizona State University and Lego Mindstorms' robotics).
While Farhaj, Ahmad, and Abdullah above, as Bucknell students, seem very interested in collaborating with World Univ & Sch - and for example Farhaj asked about internship possibilities with WUaS (and yes WUaS is seeking to hire native speakers in all 200 countries' main languages as soon as possible), and Ahmad suggested some ways to grow online University and high school education in Pakistan with increasing internet access there (where Pakistan, in older terms, is still a 3rd World country, and quite poor, - so a "developing country" and developing market too especially, in today's terms)
So, all the best, Margot (and I'm sorry you're not interested in collaborating regarding (either) the MIT OCW-centric wiki Chemical Engineering wiki School or Subject https://wiki.
Best wishes, abolish the wrongful buying selling of people in the illegal sex, drugs, violence etc industries and their latent networks of violence, abolitionally, thanks, Friendly Quaker greetings, Scott

Dear Matt Lamparter, Provost Margot Vigeant, President John Bravman, all,Greetings! I just met and spoke with Liz Clark at Bucknell Engineering (and see below) who suggested I go to your Maker Space in room 111, which I did, but learned that you would next be in tomorrow, regarding there any Lego Robotics' kits, like Lego Spike Prime, in Maker Spaces or otherwise on campus these days? Is the Scratch Programming language a computer language Bucknell students are having fun with, even non CS students, and e.g. here with CC-4 licensed "CS First withGoogle at World Univ & Sch" - https://csfirst.withgoogle.com/s/en/home? I'll seek to stop in tomorrow and see if we might talk in passing. As the founder, and president of CC-4 licensed https://ocw.mit.edu/ MIT OCW-centric wiki World University and School, it would be interesting too to explore, brainstorming-wise, possible emerging WUaS PhD programs for Bucknell students in the future. Thanks. All the best, ScottDear Terri Norton, and Liz Clark (at Bucknell Engineering -Greetings! Very nice to meet you and talk with you, Liz, just now. And thanks for the information about possible Lego Robotics in Maker Spaces at Bucknell.I went to Rm 111 to ask for Matt Lampharter, but he'll be in tomorrow, so I may stop in tomorrow again to see if he might be in room 111. Are there any Lego Robotics' kits, like Lego Spike Prime, in Maker Spaces or otherwise on campus these days? Is the Scratch Programming language a computer language Bucknell students are having fun with, even non CS students, and e.g. here with CC-4 licensed "CS First withGoogle at World Univ & Sch" - https://csfirst.withgoogle.com/s/en/home? I'd like to share below some related emails which some Bucknell librarians and I just exchanged in these regards. While the Bucknell Library is not interested in getting Lego Robotics' kits for the library at this time, they suggested getting in touch with Bucknell Maker Spaces in Engineering and related areas ... which is why I came to your offices.Who further might you suggest I speak with please? How best to grow making Lego Robotics and programming with Scratch for fun and play, and for STEM and also humanities students? (You'll find here the email I sent in reaching out to Provost Margot Vigeant, and President John Bravman, All - & re Collaborations with MIT OCW-centric wiki World Univ & Sch? ...https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2023/11/rue- plant-lt-national-flower-of. html and see too - https://scott-macleod. blogspot.com/2023/10/cyclamen- lb-national-flower-of-lebanon. html). Thank you! All the best, Scott1st email threadBucknell Robotics? - Michael McLain - & Questions about a Realistic Virtual Earth for History, & also talking with Isabella O'Neill ... & Lego Robotics' kits?ADear Michael,Greetings, and nice to talk with you again just now. Thanks for your help the other day on Tu Oct 31, 2023 when I asked about adding for example April 14, 1971 Grateful Dead Concert Bucknell Library resources, brainstorming-wise, to a Realistic Virtual Earth for History (think Google Street View with time slider). I had a helpful conversation with University Archivist Isabella O'Neill (and here is some about our communication - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2023/11/neroli- viviparum-lily-li-national. html). I also think I just saw you walk by in the stacks 2 evenings ago. As I mentioned, I noticed that you have a focus on Bucknell Board Games https://researchbysubject.bucknell. edu/michael too. And I wonder too, again - with all the pieces in Board Games especially and regarding lending - whether the Bucknell Library has any Lego Robotics' kits for lending, out of curiosity, such as Lego Spike Prime. Thanks for pointing out the Lego blocks in the relaxation center, and letting me know about Bucknell Libraries approaches to pieces. (Do you make Chess Board games available for "Chess & Chill" by any chance - https://campus. bucknell.edu/campus_guest/ calendar/detail?feed=events___ all_upcoming_events&startdate= 2023-11-03T00%3A00%3A00&id= d9db72fb-5c22-5e8f-bd12- a7cb8f594c89 )? Further, and regarding Lego Robotics' kits, such as Lego Spike Prime, and potentially also Bucknell students being able to learn computer programming by playing - eg with the free Scratch programming language (and see the free CC-4 licensed "CS First with Google at World Univ & Sch" programming course - https://csfirst.withgoogle.com/s/en/home - learning the Scratch programming language) and which interoperate with Lego Robotics, how might Bucknell Libraries make one or 2 Lego Spike Prime Robotics' kits available to Bucknell students for borrowing - and not only to play with robotics, relaxation corner-wise, but also to play programming wise, and for relaxation too?" CC-4 licensed MIT OCW-centric wiki World Univ & Sch, - toward free online Bachelor, PhD, Law, MD, IB high school, AA and Master's degrees from home - of which I'm the founder, and president, has a focus on WUaS Home Robotics in engineering majors and related, - and WUaS is also an authorized reseller of 3 Lego Robotics' kits - http://worlduniversityandschool.org/ AcademicPress.html - but having not sold any to date (and as World Univ & Sch accredits with MSCHE with offices in the greater Philadelphia area, and licenses with the state of PA's department of education, for which WUaS has the green lights). I noticed also while searching "Board Games" and "Lego Robotics" here - https://researchbysubject. bucknell.edu/ - that books come up for both, but wonder whether the Bucknell Library might be interested in some Lego Spike Prime Lego Robotics kits? Might Bucknell Library be interested in lending these to Bucknell students? How to engage Bucknell students further with these potentially? Add a Lego Robotics' kits play time to parallel the Chess & Chill get togethers for Bucknell students possibly? (With WUaS as an authorized reseller of Lego Robotics' kits, I've also been reaching out to the Union county and Lycoming county library systems in these regards - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2023/10/asian- spruce-kz-national-flower-of. html (but which might take some time for related developments) - and wonder if we might talk about Bucknell University Bertrand Library Lego Robotics' kits at some point. Looking forward to staying in touch about some of this with time.Best wishes, ScottPSfound these online -Michael McLainhttps://www.bucknell.edu/fac-staff/michael-mclain

mgm020@bucknell.edu2nd email thread that Michael McLain started -Robotics1Hello Scott,Thank you for your email. We do not provide any chess sets for campus events. I do know the chess club and other groups on campus already have chess sets available. As to your questions about the Lego sets, I do not have any authority to purchase materials for the library. All the items purchased for the Relaxation Zone and the Board Game Collection have to go through an approval process. If you like to talk to someone about the Lego kits, you can contact my supervisor Ben Hoover. His email is bahoover@bucknell.edu. Thank you.Michael--Michael McLainLibrary Services Desk AssistantBertrand 107ELibrary & ITBucknell University570-577-14362Greetings, Mr. McLain, and Mr Hoover,Thanks so much for your email, Michael, just now - and Ben's email. And greetings, Ben and Michael: what follows is all a little out of the box, but please read on -Ben, might it be possible to meet with you to talk about Bucknell Library getting some Lego Robotics' Spike Prime kits - for students seeking to play with making robots, relaxation-corner-wise, - but also for students seeking to have fun learning programming through kinds of play with the Scratch programming language, and which is interoperable with Lego Robotics' kits. (The new Scratch programming language is also out of the lifelong kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab ... and designed for playing learning programming re this thinking too). I hope to be in the Bucknell library this afternoon, or tomorrow sometime, if you are available.(Furthermore, how might the Chess people at Bucknell, some of whom I met at a Friday afternoon chess playing get together help possibly create a playing with Lego Robotics' building robots' group, and a fun Scratch computer programming get together possibly - re dovetailing all of this?)(And further, brainstorming-wise MIT OCW-centric wiki World Univ & Sch / WUaS Educational Services' stores are official resellers of 3 Lego Robotics' kits, two of which have been retired - http://worlduniversityandschool.org/ AcademicPress.html - but WUaS hasn't yet sold any Lego Robotics' kits; might it be possible, if Bucknell library were interested in getting Lego Spike Prime Robotics' kits to get them FROM WUaS Corp; AND possibly in collaboration with about 7 counties' public libraries (re Lycoming and Union counties for example) in the area to get Lego Spike Prime Robotics' kits - and also regarding generating initial purchase orders through the WUaS Corporation ... and thus getting MIT OCW-centric wiki World Univ & Sch / WUaS off the ground financially even please? And further, how might Bucknell students playing with Lego Robotics with the Scratch Programming language find their ways, after graduation, into matriculating at MIT OCW-centric wiki World Univ & Sch for online free WUaS degrees - PhDs for example - from home in #WUaSHomeRobotics in #WUaSStemMajos?) How might we best possibly talk about some of this please, if we do meet? I may seek to ask at the Bucknell library this afternoon, if you're available to talk, if I find my way there. All the best, thank you, appreciatively, ScottScott3Hello Mr. MacLeod,The library is not interested in purchasing Lego sets at this time. You might want to contact the Maker Spaces on campus as this seems to align with their function. A link to the Maker Spaces is below.Best regards,Ben Hoover--
