How best to build at World Univ & Sch a Realistic Virtual Earth For Mutations & Realistic Virtual Earth For Genetics in G Street View with Time slider at the molecule view level?


Building a simulation of a realistic virtual Earth for genetics and mutations at the molecule level within a Google Street View interface, complete with a time slider, is a highly complex and currently unfeasible project with existing technology and public APIs. It combines the cutting-edge fields of large-scale environmental modeling, molecular dynamics, genetics simulation, and advanced data visualization, each representing a significant challenge. 
The current Google Maps and Street View APIs are designed for visualizing existing geographic and photorealistic 3D data, not for dynamically simulating complex scientific processes or rendering molecular structures within that environment. 
For World Univ & Sch to pursue such a visionary project, a multi-disciplinary approach using specialized tools and platforms would be required, as outlined below:
I. Core Challenges
  • Data Granularity & Scale: Google's "virtual satellite" AlphaEarth provides data at a 10x10 meter pixel resolution for the planet's surface. This is vastly different from the nanometer scale required for molecular visualization. Bridging this gap is a grand challenge.
  • Simulation Complexity: Accurately simulating the dynamics of genetics and mutations at a molecular level across a global, multi-scale environment involves immense computational power and is an active area of research, with "virtual cell" projects still in early development.
  • Visualization Tools: Standard web mapping APIs cannot render molecular structures. Specialized scientific visualization libraries would be needed, and integrating them into a unified, user-friendly interface with a time slider for tracking changes across different scales presents major technical hurdles. 
II. Recommended Approach and Technology Stack
Instead of attempting to force this into Google Street View, which lacks the necessary functionality, a custom solution can be built using specialized libraries. 
1. Data and Simulation Layer
  • Molecular Dynamics Software: Use software like Gromacs or NAMD to perform the actual simulations of molecular interactions and mutations. These would generate the raw data for visualization.
  • Genetics Simulation Libraries: Employ libraries focused on population genetics and evolutionary modeling to simulate the effects of mutations at a larger scale, using the molecular data as underlying parameters.
  • High-Performance Computing (HPC): The scale and complexity of these simulations will likely require significant computational resources, such as supercomputers or cloud-based HPC services. 
2. Data Integration and Storage
  • Knowledge Graphs: Utilize dynamic knowledge graphs to connect biological concepts and data across different spatial and temporal scales, from molecular to ecosystem levels.
  • Geospatial Databases: Store large-scale environmental data and link it to the simulation outputs using a robust geospatial database system. 
3. Visualization and User Interface Layer
  • Custom 3D Rendering Engine: Instead of the Google Maps API, a custom 3D rendering engine built with libraries like CesiumJS (which supports OGC's 3D Tiles standard used by Google for photorealistic maps) or Unity/Unreal Engine would offer greater control for integrating disparate data types and molecular visualizations.
  • Molecular Visualization Libraries: Integrate specific libraries such as 3Dmol.js or PV to render and interact with molecules within the custom 3D environment.
  • Time Slider Implementation: The time slider functionality would need to be custom-developed to manage and display the time-series data generated by the simulations, potentially by leveraging Google Earth Engine's principles for handling time-based geospatial data. 
Summary
The project is highly ambitious and would essentially require building a novel platform for multi-scale biological and environmental simulation. World Univ & Sch would need a dedicated team of computational biologists, software engineers, geospatial experts, and 3D visualization specialists to achieve this vision.

There are merits to being demoted if that's what you might be referring to by "knocked back" - in the Swiss uniformed armed services for example - rather than promoted e.g. to a Swiss general or similar I'd think, Marc, n'est-ce pas? ... and somehow Yogic ally ... and it could allow for much time to focus on science from Switzerland further n'est-ce pas aussi?
