Ma, Pin, Ed, You're wise Ma I think to 'read' for your book group, with its upcoming focus on banned books I I think, "Huck Finn" (1885, Twain) over "Spoon River Anthology" (1915, Masters) because it's a better 'read' since Marky-Twainy-baby is such a great raconteur (Amazing that as we started to listen to it Ma in the car,  on the way to Cuttyhunk on the little blue portable CD player, that it caused the 150 Watt AC-to-DC power inverter to blow out ... and with a little picturesque whiff of smoke too) ...

(My mother said her book group has been meeting for decades, and might have emerged a bit out of the 1st Unitarian Universalist Church of Pgh, which she's been a member of for a long time ) ... Am also possibly interested in inviting Donna Leet MD to this with time...
