I see for example the testimonies of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship {S.P.I.C.E.S.} among Quakers as informing kinds of possibilities for love and care, the effects of which I've noticed in Quaker high schools, for example, as very positive and even generating a kind of happiness.
