Checking in {to Harbin again?}

Here are some hypothetical amusing questions and regarding an email I just sent to my mother, then to friends -
If Harbin went in the direction of a California police person on property - right out of CA Police Academy - what would she, or he, wear in the warm pool? :) Armed even and nothing else? :) Gun on the head
? (And what would CA police academy official Harbin uniform and vehicles be - energy-wise - and different from Harbin's security vehicles)?
Have too many Harbin security people been insecure and passed away, knowing a bit too much even ? - on the not amusing side ... Speculatively ...
And divergent from Harbin's countercultural history, might having a police person on property be better - CA insurance-wise? (A different kind of insurance than its quite broad Hippy communities with their own economies).
In one of those Harbin ironies, Rosemary Cordova, Harbin office manager (and friend), and mom of Lazarus, was married to the Chief of Police in the area, not living together. Rosemary drove me into SF a couple of times back I think in 2004 ... When I was a Harbin resident for 4.5 months ... and exploring the idea of writing a Harbin Ethnography (just back from UNI EDINBURGH, Scotland for a year, and after 2 years before that at UC Santa Barbara in Anthropology-related academic 'disciplines,' and before traveling on Semester at Sea in autumn 2005). Was HCC founder Ishvara snortling in his 'lair' that Rosemary's son's father was the local chief of police? (Is there a long history of police corruption in California and how has this played out re the white Latino Hispanic 'divides' even)?
I think people in Harbin's culture would be safer with a CA police presence on property, but still keeping the camping cost down at the Harbin gate would be key to attracting younger folks who don't have much money, and are open to a pick up place with alternative, hippy thinking - and re the open naked energy of Harbin's warm pool area which informs its countercultural energy coming out of the 1960s and '70s as it does ... And with the continuity of Ishvara Bob Hartley still being around re unfolding vision and even Harbin Pubs - Publications with their hippy vibe - (as difficult and sick as he may be) . He'd balk a lot at no-corruption naked CA cops on property, but might come around re insurance questions, and given the devastating valley fire of 2015.
Shall we visit Harbin again in the 2022 spring, if we get the green light from Sajjad or Eric - to CHECK IN by checking out liminal (betwixt and between) from society in modernity or 'internetity' (two 'conditions' some social scientists engage to understand human processes) for a spell at that 'nudie place' - which is what UC BERKELEY Anthro Prof Aiwha Ong called Harbin to me years ago - which 'institutionalized' the hippy 'party' sociologically / anthropologically - as a Church, Heart Consciousness Church:)?

What about the hypothetical law enforcement of Bryn Mawr College's summer dormitory concerning abolition of the illegal sex industry in 2024, compared with the abolition of a recurrence of slavery in a Harvard College, or Univ of Oslo, Norway, summer dormitory then? How could WUaS abolish both slavery and the illegal sex industry in the following countries in 2025 ... And how would electronic medical records work re recording adult perpetrators, repeat offenders, purveyors of the illegal sex industry and with regards to minors as victims, tragically, and re creation of broken early source for the illegal sex industry (with its latent culture of violence)? So this line of thinking might suggest that the recurrence of slavery in 2028 is as heinous as the ongoing illegal sex industry as slavery, but perhaps that law & law enforcement approaches might be changed.
In a related thinking vein, has The Netherlands lost its culture of goodness due to some kinds of legalization of the illegal sex industry? I don't think I've ever been (well I've only flown thru Amsterdam airpot actually), - and only driven thru Nevada, - & I have no plans to visit these places re their cultures, I'd posit, of badness in these regards (as a kind of boycott even???). And am glad too that all the sex industry harming sickies in the world in the US and Europe can go to these places, freeing places with social justice laws for better culture and for the people who continue to live there. (Not sure about Asia, the Middle East or Africa ... re legal sex industry for 'sickies' ... but it probably exists) leaving space and opportunity for the ongoing calling of the ongoing abolition of both.

How are you? I hope this finds you well. I'm writing to inquire whether you might like to explore hiking the California Coastal Trail sometime. While it runs from Mexico to Oregon, might we explore just the San Mateo county part (if existing) at first, and then in the counties just north and south of there, maybe even starting at Baker Beach, and hiking south?
Begin with California Coastal Trail: Lands End to Golden Gate Bridge on AllTrails - 4.4 miles
