Dear Mariusz, Dear Andrezj, (& Larry)

Good to be in communication with you. World Univ & Sch is waiting for the next steps regarding edX or Open edX (re CC-4 MIT OCW into MITx - https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mitx-related-courseware/) and for one of our matriculating students in India on September 1, 2020 - and how WUaS or edX could provide a letter to prospective employers that this student was matriculated officially at WUaS / edX and similar. I've emailed edX CEO Anant Agarwal about this, and haven't heard back yet. Such WUaS edX / Open edX / MITx courses for Poles who speak English - and letters for prospective employers too - beginning around January 1, 2021 would be important in our communications too. What are your thoughts? And what are your thoughts about helping WUaS find 50-500 Polish students who speak English to matriculate for free-to-students' Bachelors' degrees on January 1, 2021 too?

Questions would be most welcome about abbreviations and other specifics. (If you'd like to meet again in a video conference for clarifications, please let me know).

A) 
This is one approach CC-4 MIT OCW into MITx - https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mitx-related-courseware/ - but would probably for WUaS have to happen after WUaS heard back about WUaS edX letters for prospective employers from edX CEO Anant Agarwal or when WUaS builds out again for January in Open edX via MOOCit France as course service provider. And for this WUaS is seeking 6 MIT or similar graduate students to adapt MIT OCW into courses on Open edX in our WUaS 6 majors for free-to-students' Bachelor degrees. (edX isn't easy to work with, I've found so far, but am hoping collaborations grow, as WUaS offers licensing and accrediting free to students' CC-4 MIT OCW-centric Bachelor degrees). World Univ & Sch is seeking to develop as its own legal entity in Poland.

Where WUaS is heading with business projects is first with our WUaS Educational Services' Store - http://worlduniversityandschool.org/AcademicPress.html - and in Poland (English, Polish) too for students' books, robotics' stores, computer stores (and perhaps even eventually list this Polish WUaS Educational Services' Store on the Polish stock market). VC will be important here, and as WUaS develops our technological innovations, we'll probably parallel the MIT TEchnology Licensing office http://tlo.mit.edu - but under WUaS auspices (for which we'll hire career positions). The WUaS Press / WUaS Corp is similarly seeking to develop as its own legal entity in Poland. But collaborations in the beginning may be important and invaluable too!

Governments, both at the nation state, or federal, and county levels in Poland, would be involved through their departments of education and similar, as well as potentially with WUaS reaching out directly to Polish high schools and high school counselors in Poland themselves (paralleling Poland's University application process for university-bound students). WUaS also seeks the highest achieving Polish students, the 'Olympic academic athletes' of Poland, for example, who may have been at the top of their classes in high school. So WUaS seeks Polish students who would otherwise apply to MIT / Harvard / Stanford and get accepted, for example, but WUaS also seeks to be accessible to all Polish students who might as individuals seek an excellent University education, now online. The degrees World University and School plans to offer Polish students, first in English and then in Polish, are Bachelor, Ph.D., Law, M.D. (and eventually I.B. high school or similar), - all online, and in WUaS seeking to become the online MIT / Harvard / Stanford of the internet not only in Poland (but in all ~200 countries).

World Univ & Sch seeks per student per year reimbursement from nation states' governments, contingent on GDP, eventually at what tuition costs at MIT itself (currently about $55,000 per year per student). Students would be studying from their homes, and be responsible for the costs of their own books, robotics kits and other home electronics's supplies, and similar. 

The idea for Polish partners behind the cooperation is that Poland would get MIT-centric degrees for free, with all the innovative potential of MIT's STEM knowledge generation potential, career-wise especially for graduates. So Polish partners would give reimbursement to WUaS per student per year, and Poland would get MIT-centric degrees by Poles. WUaS seeks to create 2.2 million careers as well, in all ~200 countries (so to become about the size of Walmart), and so Poland World University and School in Polish will create an enormous number of Polish academic faculty and staff positions - 10s of 1000s potentially, which is what Polish partners would also get.  

As we spoke about too, World University has two wings, 1) the non-profit C-4 MIT OCW-centric World University and School, and 2) the for-profit general stock company the WUaS Press / WUaS Corporation. In this 2nd wing, WUaS seeks to create an Academic Press at WUaS with WUaS Educational Services' stores - both on the ground and virtually, and these bookstores / computer stores / robotics' stores / hospital technologies' distribution centers, would eventually become 'big boxes' regarding the creation of careers in Poland, and WUaS Corporation would also seek potentially to list on the Polish stock exchange with time - https://www.investopedia.com/terms/w/warsaw_stock_exchange.asp - if this were viable. (Here are the WUaS 15 planned revenue streams - https://worlduniversityandschool.blogspot.com/2020/04/15-planned-wuas-revenue-streams-both.html - on both wings).

Mostly I am involved in different ideas and look for partners to enhance and accelerate relevat initiatives.

Now I am a deputy rector of one of the polish private Universities and try to give them an additional value of technologies to the languages based University.

I have access to the top diplomats of world level with excellent relations with the countries in South America,
Brasil, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Chile etc. and Central Africa . We can see this as resources available for any common action.
What can we use the resources for could be a subject of our discussion with prof. Rucinski, You and me.

(Am still concerned in an ongoing way about further illegal break ins and entries, and theft, for ex., in the night - and of spare car key fairly recently? ... and haven't been able to change the lock yet, - with landlady's written permission, and since her unwell dad doesn't seem to be able to control himself :( ... ) ... 


Recalled something about locks in the great great fascinatingly wise 'Tao te Ching,' a book I find helpful & philosophically edifying sometimes ... So I searched online and found these 5 comparative translations in its chapter 27 - 
re a good lock .... search on the word 'lock' here ...

Locks back then in China, as well as a social justice legal system with regulated police, let alone as effective technologies, and pre-internet and digital alarm systems, were a very different cultural information technological expression.

So, in Taoism, 'living in harmony with the way' seems central, and I could interpret the Tao or the way, or road, also regarding culture, language or even the idea of the Tao, denoting 'the principle that is the source, pattern and substance of everything that exists' from Wade-Giles https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taoism but it also means 'a road, path, way; and hence, the way in which one does something; method, doctrine, principle') somehow.

Tao Te Ching can be literally translated as 
 "Virtue Way Rules"

So if the landlord intimidates, is scary or even attacks, is he out of harmony with the way?
And if the landlord hit the road ... I wouldn't need to think through locks or security so much (which isn't the idea of Chapter 27), I think (given the most recent illegal break in and entry, and theft and my reporting this officially to the Moraga police) ... and with medical systems with possible night nurses - like T the RN - and a nursing home system too, the current cultural information technology system (if we can call it that) is extraordinarily different from 2300-2500 years ago in China.  

So if I "do nothing" - wu wei (non action) - Taoism-wise too, and re the Tao, and in thinking through a security system through time here involving changing my house-let's lock, securing the windows, putting in a digital alarm system, but then scenario-wise, think in terms of possibly coming into ownership of this property - if landlord is escorted by T the RN to a secure retirement center - would I do best to think of security for all 3 dwellings eventually? Perhaps. 

Stopped at Rex Key & Security in Berkeley last night just after it had closed at 5 pm, and wanted to ask about how the very first step would work with them - changing the lock, getting a new lock and replacing it myself, but couldn't. Am thinking first about a total plan, and then the steps to achieve this, and Taoist philosophy is playing a role here too! :)

I think Chapter 27 in the Tao te Ching suggests - https://ttc.tasuki.org/display:Code:gff,sm,jhmd,jc,rh/section:27 - if you take the big view, "following the light," or good, care for the 'bad' man - but I would add MEDICALLY - that is sage behavior. But I wonder if this Tao view doesn't involve dissent from tyranny of the bad man ... and without leaving tracks, caring for or teaching the bad man at a distance somehow, - and even with medicines???

(The issue here seems to be, too, that of wronging, harming landlord, and good renter, and not the roles mentioned in the Tao Te Ching in chapter 27, - so changing the lock and with plans for subsequent security have merit - and bringing also the law to the matter). A secure retirement center for landlord away from here could make this dwelling much more secure.

But it seems as if mental illness too - like potentially regarding landlord's 'kink,' or paraphilia, or neurosis too?, or again mental illness could be the key issue, and with which Chinese philosophy wouldn't have much to say (since I don't think the Tao te Ching touches on questions of mental illness, for example ... ) 

Ah, to feel secure from an offender, perpetrator, aggressor or similar ... (Psychiatrist Harry Stack Sullivan's "Feel better now?" when he was struck by a patient? - George used to joke, as another insight into psychiatric linguistic approaches to medicine??? ... what therapeutically to do with the kleptomaniac - thief who can't help or control themselves, too?)
