Hi Ma, 

from Grover Hot Springs state park (but on the road now, and with a new WiFi signal in rural Alpine county CA) ...

Very beautiful mountain ridge, Sun illuminated, on the far side of the hot springs valley from where I am now ... Nice to awake to this illuminated forest world at around 7000 feet elevation.

Wrote this yesterday evening, after traveling all afternoon and for about 5 hours - 
 I'm the Sierra mountains about some 200 miles from the SF BAY AREA, with further questions, now traveling, about moving back into Canyon again on August 1. Grover Hot Springs state park seems pretty closed and kind of not friendly... I'm camping on a side road in a forest with faint smell of smoke in the air, walked the 1/3 mile to the pools at dusk which were all fenced in AND with pools empty ... Read a few historical placards for the public above the pools after dark ... This little valley and hot springs begin with settlers from the east coast I think in the 1850s ... and for the hot springs, and native Americans preceded them, the signs said (and often do)  ! Wow...

Nice to talk to you briefly when I had a phone signal earlier. Am emailing you this in the morning with a WiFi signal.

Was glad to see the UC Davis campus in a new way, and also that Kaiser Permanente health organization has a place on campus (could I see a physician here for different medical thinking I ask myself - eg a 2nd opinion if I were interested), and that the UC DAVIS Medical School was at some distance, a few miles east, from the main campus. There's a Toyota service place too in Hanlees, a community near UC Davis. Was amazed at how many private businesses were operating on campus as a public university of California and which University was kind of radical I'm the late 1960s are early 1970s ... 1971 I think... Eg

History thinking: through the UC Davis extension program in the early 1970s, people took a van from UC Davis to @HarbinBook Harbin Hot Springs for a course, humorously OR interestingly, called "Hydro Thermo Dynamics" - soaking in the pools - I learned at a Quaker Quarterly Meeting around the town of Grass Valley (near through which I just drove) some years ago, meeting one of the instructors in the course... came to visit me in Canyon in 2019 with her son Tim ..  and re moving back into Canyon again on August 1 newly safe too.

And that Navinchandra Doshi and Ed Smyth MD have said "the Canyon place is mine" too... Wow..

Am Also glad T.L. and I are in touch about this... And he's asking too about my having a family - with my moving in to the house .. .In a related vein he introduced me on my birthday in DC around 2018 to a woman named  Christine Schmidt (or similar) ... And we had a good connection (she was warm open and connecting, with Tym around) from the beginning but who was also a little old to have a family (and far and not exactly a good fit at the time)... T.L. is wonderful and a good and experienced and smart diplomat and is skilled in some of these regards, such as introductions ...who could make something happen like a life partner I think and from a distance too ... ... Or maybe I'll meet her on my own (as an individual (per thinking and language of George Alexander MD TOO)

Fun to be exploring... Entering Nevada soon... May head South on 395 Seeking some new hot springs besides Travertine Hot Springs and BuckeyeHotSprings both near the Town of Bridgeport CA... And I'm an area with so many hot springs particularly also an hour south ... Interesting history too ... 

Work World University and School seems about to add the exempt legal ENTITY in CA to the WUaS My FTB Account generation process ... A big little momentous next step :)
