We are very pleased to announce the launch of a new School Transport Bursary, designed to help remove financial barriers that prevent schools from visiting the cathedral for learning visits.

The bursary will be available from September 2026 to August 2027 and will support eligible schools across the Diocese of Durham.

Education Now: Actionable Insights from the Harvard Graduate School of Education

Thank you for being part of the Askwith Education Forum community at the Harvard Graduate School of Education this year. Together, we explored urgent questions in education and civic life and saw the power of dialogue to deepen understanding, challenge assumptions, and connect research with practice.

As we plan next year’s forums, we would greatly value your feedback. Please complete this brief four question survey.

2025–2026 Highlights included:
  • AI, educational leadership, and the future of learning with Howard Gardner, Anthea Roberts, and Ying Xu
  • Michael Sandel on meritocracy, democracy, and higher education
  • Cradle-to-career investment in rural communities for college access and economic mobility with Suzy Diaz, Dreama Gentry, Christina Grant, Tauheedah Jackson, and Paul Reville.
