Oh bricks! I’m sorry your having issues downloading the LEGO® WeDo App.

Not to worry… your LEGO friends are here to help! You may download the app from our LEGO® Education official site: WeDo 2.0 | Software Download | LEGO® Education

It can select to download the app for Chromebook and there's system requirements on the site however we no longer update the WeDo software. I have attached a table with all the different devises you can access the LEGO WeDo app on and how to uninstall then reinstall the app again.

Thanks, I wasn't able to download the Lego WeDo 2.0 v. 1.10.167 with the link you provided - "Download your WeDo 2.0 software v. 1.10.162" ( WeDo 2.0 | Software Download | LEGO® Education) - to my MacBook Air laptop MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 (or to my Google Pixel 6a Android smartphone, but where this software may not be available for this Android device).

I've learned in a number of AI conversations with Google Bard generative AI in the German language - of all computing interfaces - that the #LegoWeDo2 (retired) #RoboticsKit has a new software update 1.10.167 ... and Google Bard gave me the link that allowed me to send my inquiry to you ... and this was the Lego "message received" email I got back in response (possibly from Lego's Jesper Andersen) -
