Dear Kristyn, Jisha, Tammy, Deborah, Francisco, Andres, All,
Thanks for a good "(5/17): Stanford EPIC Symposium." (Thanks to the US federal monies re Title 6 funding for making this EPIC symposium possible especially). And greetings from free-to-students' MIT OCW-centric wiki World University and School WUaS (and regarding my question about CA community colleges, and subsequent degrees post community college, e.g. at free World University and School from home, and careers especially).
Jisha, as a further followup, how are teachers and the internet playing out now regarding your great keynote "Art, Activism and Agriculture: The Farmers' Protests and Eco-cosmopolitanism" with its focus on masks in Rajasthan - in the information technology revolution, and potentially not only regarding community college teachers, or similar, in India in the Rajasthani language ... BUT also potentially illiterate farmers wiki teaching and wiki learning to each across great distances, e.g. farming practices (by pressing icons on their smartphones to wiki teach to Youtube for example) ... or even how to organize against possible criminality in their communities due to multinationals and possibly related international organized crime ... (and in collaboration with the Indian government, and the state of Rajasthan's government .. and re law and law enforcement too there)? Could masks become a metaphor for learners and teachers learning online from their smartphones/laptops even? (And regarding WUaS and Stanford Mine Pi cryptocurrency free money daily, and the farmer's indebtedness, please see the PPPPS)
Tammy, Kristyn, all, how best to reach out to all California community colleges with free MIT OCW-centric WUaS degrees - Bachelor, PhD, Law, MD IB high school/similar, AA or AS, and Master's (first in English then in each of all ~200 countries and in their main languages) - online from home in the future, and as WUaS accredits (even in collaboration with Stanford with WASC senior, or as WUaS accredits with Middle States Commission on Higher Education with offices in the greater Philadelphia PA area)? Did you suggest when we spoke, Tammy, that WUaS might best communicate regarding reaching out to all California community colleges with free MIT OCW-centric WUaS degrees - Bachelor, PhD, Law, MD IB high school/similar, AA or AS, and Master's (first in English) with these EPIC leaders -
https://sgs.stanford.edu/outreach/community-college-engagement/epic-community-college-leadership-program/meet-2024-25-epic ?
Joseph, how would you teach bilingualism in Sierra Leone re the Krio language there ... and to your Laney College students studying abroad in Sierra Leone, west Africa?
Matthew, thanks for your interesting presentation about the use of video in the information age for community college students ... and possibly regarding degrees (or certificates) in this too even. In WUaS developing a #
RealisticVirtualEarthForHistor
y in 1 iterating #RealisticVirtualEarth, and see Peter Norvig's INCREDIBLE #ToolifyAIWUaS article "Revoitionaing Education with Machine Learning and AI" -
https://www.toolify.ai/ai-news/revolutionizing-education-with-machine-learning-and-ai-2574306 - (and think Google Street View with time slider, Maps, Earth, Tensorflow AI, how best, brainstorming-wise, for community college students for example to wiki-add videos they've created to such a #RealisticVirtualEarth #ForHistory, as part of a conversation in learning ? )
What follows is a series of questions, brainstorming-wise in these regards:... Since this #RealisticVirtualEarth #ForEverything is emerging and developing (and think #GStreetView with #GTimeSlider, #GMaps, #GEarth, #TensorflowAI with #hashtags on Twitter/X and LinkedIn) - and for avatar agents from potentially speakers on Youtube videos ... e.g. where little Pegman in Google Street View with a time slider becomes you and I (and fantastical or cartoon-like avatar creations too as in the 3D group buildable virtual world of Second Life ... ) e.g. with ML and AI and NLP ... I'll ask these questions with regard to my physical-digital ethnographic field site, harbin Hot Springs - Heart Consciousness Church' in Lake county in Northern California (re my 1st large ethnographic book "Naked Harbin Ethnography," Academic Press at WUaS, 2016)
How best to create/code the beginning of #RealisticVirtualEarth for #AddingVideoInterviews from 2007, 2012 and 2024 & add them to Google Street View with time slider, in 2007, 2012, and 2024 per the Harbin Hot Springs' Gatehouse here -
https://goo.gl/maps/7gSsSTweRCBo9gf87 - where little Pegman in Google Street View with time slider may become the speakers in the audio interviews, for example? So, from a #ForHistory perspective, if my main #HarbinInformtant #SunheartSunheart or #HeartSongHeartSong (who passed away in around 2019) in #NakedHarbinEthnography and I were recorded by possible video surveillance cameras (which I don't think existed) at Harbin Hot Springs in 2007 and 2012 (before the Valley Fire of 2016 that razed Harbin), and I could get access to these video conversations say in the #BlueRoomCafe at Harbin then - from some archive of Harbin recordings too... How could I best add these video conversations to a #
RealisticVirtualEarthForHistor
y (and in WUaS seeking to make it possible to add evidence and recordings to a #RealisticVirtualEarth #ForHistory back to the beginning of the universe 14 billion years ago even - for example video of even molecules and atoms that could have existed 12 billion years ago)?
How would CA community college students say in a history major on a video track doing interview best add their video creations to such #RealisticVirtualEarth #ForLibraries too ... Add some video links to a #RealisticVirtualEarth in place, say in 2024, while adding other video recordings they made in 2023 to a kind of catalog of recordings from that year where the place back videography wouldn't matter so much in a #RealisticVirtualEarthForHistory ... and all for creating and writing history and culture anew?
Andres, All, regarding free online WUaS law schools, and as we accredit, and potentially in collaboration with Stanford Law CodeX, since MIT doesn't have a law school and thus no law courses to speak of, first emerging in California, please see the PPPPPS.
Eboni, thanks for your great questions and presentation. Brainstorming, would you like to create the MIT OCW-centric wiki Oman World University and School -
