World University and School, with regards to licensing with the state of California's Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education received the green light for this by attending the BPPE day long workshop on February 20, 2019, and received a further BPPE 'green light' email in an email from BPPE on April 22, 2019, and is proceeding with licensing (leading to accreditation).

Unfortunately, the $250,000 National Science Foundation award that WUaS thought World University and School was granted - since WUaS heard about this in January, and with this information went ahead and successfully procured a DUNS number from D&B (in NYC) as a next step in the funding process - has not come through, per a communication on April 30, 2019 from our Program Administrator at the NSF - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2019/05/rhododendron-arboreum-flower-of-nepal.html.

WUaS had budgeted part of these monies for the initial BPPE fee, and part of these monies for accreditation potentially with WASC senior, and some of these monies to hire graduate student instructors to teach 'sections' online in group video conferencing to the best STEM CC-4 OpenCourseWare (OCW) faculty in video.
This has been a major setback in a number of ways, but especially with regards to initial BPPE licensing.
