As scary as spiked vaccines, for example, might be for some, in this society of 320 million in the USA, and a history of somewhat decent legal and medical systems, I think it'll be a long time yet before we find out what actually happened, and who died and why and how, and who made the decisions - let alone that they might be brought to justice. For example, Ma just mailed me an NYT's article by Ross Douthat from the Sunday, September 19, 2021 NYT which said that 670,000 people have died from Covid-19 (670 happens too, - coincidentally or not - to be the same number of the house in Canyon 94516 I lived in for about 13 years, after a number change part way through), and the Op Ed also continued, for example, that "Yes, there does seem to be a notable tendency for right-wing talk radio hosts to die of the disease -- " ... which seems to me like these deaths could possibly have been kinds of political killings even! So please be careful (if for example there's also been a major failing of psychiatry and the law too, in the USA, and in many countries around the world, to successfully protect victims, for example, of the intl. illegal sex industry, and its latent culture of violence too), and a kind of internet ecology swings around in a different direction. I just talked with Pin on the phone this evening from the UU Church of Kensington Berkeley, and I think he said the Covid-19 pandemic isn't over yet.
Thinking of you - per the 2 younger brother potential warnings I've heard directly from 2 people who won't be involved in World Univ & Sch.

Having heard from 2 people in different WUaS online meetings about their younger brothers dying or doing poorly after a vaccination, I'm writing to ask you to be especially careful in the upcoming months and years, ethically and legally. In calling for the abolition of the intl. illegal sex industry (perhaps different from the 'illegal sex trade' - which words Ma reiterated back to me in a recent phone call, having indicated hearing me too), following the abolition of slavery, I'm aware too of possible deeply vested interests in these businesses and related networks of violence. Might we be learning of them through these younger brother narratives? (I'm calling for the abolition of the illegal sex industry because it's the right thing to do, as a Friend, with Unitarian U sympathies (in their abolitionist histories), and also in seeking to potentially protect somehow, as WUaS brainstorming-wise plans to code for, all 7.8 billion people on the planet as wiki teachers and learners, and UBI recipients re a single cryptocurrency in most of 200 countries' and in their official languages, re budding artificial intelligence and machine learning).
Having heard from Ma last night that she may be getting a flu shot soon (see my concerns in email below), and also with my damaged far left left eye following immediately upon getting the non-FDA-tested hastily produced 2nd Pfizer vaccine dose, I'm aware that spiked vaccines are a serious risk, tragically even, and that they aren't easy to control the administration of in the medical system, (which with the psychiatry and legal systems, seem to have gone away in the past 18 months in the USA). I'm also aware that Dad came back from Belize in Nov 2004 with a serious brain injury, a subdural hematoma, and then apparently developed a 2nd spontaneous subdural hematoma in Pittsburgh in late 2004 or 2005. While visiting friends' Henry Cutter and Victoria Fisher in Randolph NH in July, I slipped on a root - the story I've heard for Dad's first subdural hematoma cause - near a waterfall and fell with a thud, not hitting my head, but I continue to wonder about foul play and his being somehow 'whacked' wrongly, harmfully, unethically ... And encourage you to be extraordinarily careful these days regarding your ethical and legal actions.
Am wary of these dying younger brother narratives I've heard recently - and am seeking to prevent any dying mother narrative too, due to the illegal s x industry, for example. As I wrote yesterday evening to you, Ma (below), and all, about t thinking in terms of GREAT caution about getting the flu shot ... - I'm curious what you all think. Am curious also how in some courts of law too, a new Disease diagnosis - such as Covid-19 - could possibly even be partly construed as an aspect of 'crimes against humanity' (see Gerd Moe-Behren's articles below), - and I ask with medical anthropology inquiries in mind as well. Living in a 'safe house' for whistle-blowing about Canyon 94516, (and also prior to this about Stanford, the SF Quaker Meeting, UC Berkeley, and Berkeley Law, Reed College ... ), I'm seeking for my brother and mother not to become victims, as I continue to call for abolition. Am aware that NYT's columnist Ross Douthat is suggesting 'political killings' with Covid-19 vaccine, so am continuing to be concerned about related viral vaccines. Hey, Scott,
I think all this gets way too much for me. I have always gotten my inoculations, I get my flu shot every year, I am vaccinated against all sorts of things, including Covid. No adverse effects, no one watching me, no concerns about some government plot to get me to get or not get any particular disease or shot.
My mom was a physician, my dad an aerospace engineer, my husband a PhD scientist, so I guess have an appreciation and respect for scientific method. If CDC and WHO say it’s a good idea to get a shot, I get the shot.
I do believe most people are inherently good, although some are driven by greed or other problems to take advantage of that and prey on the rest. So I try to keep my eyes open. But mostly I try to keep living my life, being good to people. But I really don’t want to be associated with the stuff you are promoting here.
So I’d appreciate it if you would please not include me in the list of people you copy on your emails. I often just delete them because they don’t have anything to do with me, but I really just don’t want to receive them at all. Thanks, and good wishes to you.

When are we going to check in to Harbin together again? Am missing Harbin only a bit, because I still don't think it's safe to head back there (even after receiving 2 email invitations from Deirdre Davis a year or two ago - who might be a kind of managing director - MD - there, sardonically construed even). It was fun to travel there with you in 2012.
How are you, and how are you settling in, world traveler, after your recent trip to the M.E.? Just shared the following with my younger brother, and my mother, -and since you're a younger brother (of Bill), I'd thought I'd share it with you too. Am also wondering where I'm going to live in spring of 2022 when my lease in this 'safe house' north of Berkeley is over ... and as a whistle-blower. I just added some of this "Please be careful" thread to this blog post - http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2021/09/banyan-tree-stammtisch.html?m=0 - as a heads' up for others too. As scary as spiked vaccines, for example, might be for some, in this society of 330 million in the USA, and a history of somewhat decent legal and medical systems, I think it'll be a long time yet before we find out what actually happened, and who died and why and how, and who made the decisions - let alone that they might be brought to justice, and especially social justice. For example, Ma just mailed me an NYT's article by Ross Douthat from the Sunday, September 19, 2021 NYT, which said that 670,000 people have died from Covid-19 (670 happens too, - coincidentally or not - to be the same number of the house in Canyon 94516 I lived in for about 13 years, after a number change part way through), and the Op Ed also continued, for example, that "Yes, there does seem to be a notable tendency for right-wing talk radio hosts to die of the disease -- " ... which seems to me like these deaths could possibly have been kinds of political killings even! So please be careful (if for example there's also been a major failing of psychiatry and the law too, in the USA, and in many countries around the world, to successfully protect victims, for example, of the intl. illegal sex industry, and its latent culture of violence too), and as a kind of internet ecology' (a concept I'm developing potentially re karma and dharma and ethics, etc.) swings around in a different direction. I just talked with Pin Mazumdar on the phone this evening from the UU Church of Kensington Berkeley, and I think he said the Covid-19 pandemic isn't over yet. He had returned from Madison Wisconsin, driving there with his wife.
Thinking of you - per the 2 younger brother potential warnings I've heard directly from 2 people who won't be involved in World Univ & Sch.

(Please remember too that that 2nd dose of the Pfizer vaccine may have damaged the far left of my left eye ... and possibly due to lack of testing by the FDA, and therefore to experimenting somehow on humans, with echoes of law breaking from the 1940s, tragically again). Nice to hear your human voice at the beginning of our conversation with your warmth - 'hi' - and at its close too, with your understanding and compassion - 'I really hope you have a good week' (recognizing perhaps that my whistle-blowing is stressful). We are living in strange times, with this fabricated alienating coronavirus pandemic, and having lived in 'sick Canyon' renting from mentally ill, psychiatrically sick former landlord t.w. - and among Canyon related sickness, relating to, hypothetically, a very old culture of perpetrators, offenders, purveyors, drug dealers, scofflaws, outlaws, racists (learned of a hanging tree, for ex., a mile down the road, from Jono in a trailer, a few years before he died) ... and probably most anything sick under the sun people can think up. Similar illegal sex industry and psychiatric issues with the SF Quaker Meeting and possibly all of Pacific Yearly Meeting (Quaker) + with a big plus ... And California still hasn't gotten its act together, I think, there in Canyon, ... but maybe it is doing so in this time of Covid-19 pandemic change (having had that (a) telephone hearing with a California judge about health insurance before I moved out of Canyon, for example, in the spring of 2020) ... To be seen ...
I'd prefer to continue to live on the west coast or east coast of the USA - since my actual virtual Harbin Ethnography project is somehow similarly both amazingly wondrous, and alienating (re Harbin's potential latent culture of violence - and since Sunheart, friend and informant, died there last autumn 2020), ... and my Harbin projects' meditation focus, and soaking in the warm pool with people, esp affords deep centering (actually and virtually) - and not somehow go into a curious whistle-blown political asylum in Germany or Scotland for example, but a lot depends on California's ability to clean up its act, and as I continue to call for abolition of the illegal sex industry, (following on the abolition of slavery).
One other item from our conversation ... re the NYT article on academic tenure you mentioned falling asleep over :) ... and the many World Univ & Sch considerations about this complex issue include not only about faculty so people in 200 countries' major online planned universities, and their many languages' cultures, but also the possibility of aging reversal genetic drug therapies making tenure for 3 centuries for example seem to me untenable or unviable at this point. Further research needed.
So it was really nice to hear your connection 🙂 in voice ... which I'm seeking more of ... and perhaps in finding a talking friend and possibly a long term partner with whom to begin a family. Returning some to The Desiderata, but also to family - you, and Sandy (but about whom I'm concerned too regarding possibly the illegal s x trade in New England ... And these recent mentions of a younger brother dying, or not doing well after a vaccine), so until he possibly cleans up his act, it's not easy to talk with him. And regarding these possible 'political killings' mentioned in the NYT Ross Douthat article due the Covid-19 pandemic disease diagnosis, of conservative talk show hosts - which is further alienating to me. Change is possible, through teaching even - and at World University and School ... But this is a long process. I'd think as an aside that Angela Merkel could well help facilitate growing World Univ & Sch as a conversation re her shaping the political discourse in Germany so remarkably over the past 16 years - highlighting certain actors, and structuring the conversation among constituencies ... All germane for WUaS.
So, developing a human voice in World University and School, and in my own life, in somewhat alienated SF Bay Area (with so many people deeply retreated in their homes and languages, and not really with much of a constructive civil discourse possibility in the air) leaves a lot of opportunities for this very diverse work world we're now moving more deeply into.

Misdiagnoses from medical MDs could be misused - tragically too - to enslave people, not help them (and how to create a culture of medicine which helps people) ... And I'm living, sadly, in a 'safe house,' from Canyon perps, offs. purveyors, I hypothesize, from the illegal sex industry and its latent cultures of harming and violence ...

What do you think? ... And what happens if non-commercial sexual engagements are somehow all legal at state, federal and local levels, and perpetrators were in some form of restraint or jail, and victims and prospective victims could be protected with ever improving psychiatry (talk therapy, drugs even )??? that helps people ... and in many cultures, and that doesn't lead to slavery ... even. Would California go in the direction of a kind of Dutch law rewritten for the internet's information age and CA, and with excellent law enforcement to protect victims, and protective laws and measures? What's the history of psychiatric disease diagnosis in The Netherlands in these regards, and would that suggest that California would not head in such a direction?
A actual-virtual realistic virtual earth, cloning of various mammals, and emerging robotics might offer completely new ways of developing all of this in avatar bot electronic medical records - and for all 7.8 billion people, and to protect the innocent, and shape culture in the ways societies (such as western European societies and nation states, by way of comparison) might choose ...
Am hoping WUaS Medical Schools can improve on psychiatric disease diagnoses ... and in all 200 countries, and in their languages, esp.

The issue of abuse of the insurance-oriented psychiatric disease diagnosis only compounds questions of science of such diseases. Online psychiatry however does over remarkable opportunity for avatar Bot talk therapy to help individuals - and its effect will vary from country to country and language to language (in working within these 'systems'). Online psychiatry in 200 countries is also a good initial medical subdiscipline for WUaS to begin with, because it is can be less reliant on the 'physical' compared with other medical specialties ... Remember when we used to make puns and have fun with the word 'tic' on Cuttyhunk, regarding 'antic,' 'spastic' etc ... There are lots of ways one can make puns about 'tic' - and Dad was a punster (funny too) and a wordsmith :) ... I think this 'tic' word, in retrospect, may have been an interesting first example of what a mental illness might manifest as, and be recognizable by physically - and as a word in the MacLeod family on Cuttyhunk - and possibly as my first introduction, in a sense, to the idea of mental disease (per your email about Ed's mental disease, Ma ... and potentially others, like graburns' - and could he possibly have called for Dad's subdural hematoma brain injury in Belize, and even the 2nd 'spontaneous' one in Pittsburgh after that ... 'out, damned spot! out, I say' from MacBeth re graburn? ... ), as I recall, and even with Dad as a smart, well-trained, physician MD, and teacher to of Medical Grand Rounds in Pittsburgh, as a quick and skillful diagnostician. And even though, also, the MacLeod family shared an Xmas meal with the Alexander family, and re George L Alexander MD and his family for 22 or 23 years, as a brilliant Yale & McGill-trained psychoanalytic psychiatrist (was he a genius? It's difficult to say what a genius is!), who studied and knew about mental illness, and could talk about it, and understand it in his patients, with great depth of understanding - to help such sufferers of such diseases. Glad psychiatry has been in existence since the mid-1800s -

Mental health diseases are socially constructed by the MD medical and insurance, professions, just as biological diseases are socially constructed, but constructed scientifically by different kinds of scientists (than MD psychiatrists) re biology, chemistry, physics inquiry ... and more research is needed, and newly in the Information Technology age,
Glad too that Ed shared some of his experiences with mood medicines (for seizures otherwise) with me.
Yay for trust, (with analysis or thinking, and innovating too)!

Hi Scott,
Mental health diseases are just like all other diseases. I don’t see them as negative — just a part of the human existence. They occur within all populations everywhere the world, every professional group, everyone in general. They are largely treatable, thank goodness, just as most other diseases are, for the most part. Nice that Ed shared some of his own experience with you; sounds like he’s a good example of what physicians are trained to do: dx and treat. And, as with everything between friends, comes the matter of trust - so congrats on earning that trust from him.
