SF Bay Area, California to Pittsburgh PA trip

Stephon and Frederic,

Greetings from about 350 miles east of Berkeley on the road from The SF Bay Area to Pittsburgh, most of World Univ & Sch's and my business accomplished there in a brief window if time in northern California ... And moving my things from the west coast to the eastern seaboard ... on the asylum road to the east coast and eastern woodland forests. ... It's a journey mostly on  Interstate Hwy 80 for much of the 2567 mile trip from SF Bay to Pgh PA ... I have my things in a rental truck ...Have been traveling through pretty, forested land in California, up to the crest of the Sierra mountains ... and could possibly see moving back into 670 Ridgecrest Road , Canyon CA 94516 10 miles east of Berkeley again on September 1 2023 even.

Am bringing a lightweight key board, a Shruti box & a harmonium, both from India, a great highland bagpipe (dried out) and a practice chanter ... And will put some of these musical instruments in the little living room on East End Ave in Pgh to experiment with ... and see what happens with you Stephon and Frederic, my new housemates, both playing a musical instrument ... trumpet and guitar ...

See you possibly on Saturday October 1 2022.

World Univ & Sch is growing! And WUaS is exploring becoming incubated by Google in Bakery Square in Pittsburgh - http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2022/09/nine-banded-armadillo.html.

How are you both doing?

Cheers, Scott

The Staggering Ecological Impacts of Computation and the Cloud
The cloud is not only material but also an ecological force

By Steven Gonzalez Monserrate,
The MIT Press Reader on March 1, 2022

"Some have proposed relocating data centers to Nordic countries like Iceland or Sweden, in a bid to utilize ambient, cool air to minimize carbon footprint, a technique called “free cooling.” However, network signal latency issues make this dream of a haven for green data centers largely untenable to meet the computing and data storage demands of the wider world."

WUaS incubation in Google in Bakery Square, Pittsburgh, PA?

Dear Larry,

Good morning and how are you? Just found this Tweet, re Google closing a R & D group - https://twitter.com/nabeelmahmood/status/1573494601838641155

Interesting overview of how Google INNOVATION works, with now over ~174000 employees, and closes its #RandD Groups too:
'Google cancels half the projects at its internal R&D group Area 120'

and
"Google reorg moves AR, VR, Starline and Area 120 into new ‘Labs’ team"

In what ways could @WorldUnivAndSch move into becoming a group within Google to incubate #WUaS, and even in Bakery Square, Pittsburgh PA ... in #WUaS seeking to hire eventually 2.3 billion people possibly?

THE Google
Starline holographic project regarding #PhysicalDigital Harbin ethnographic project from home is fascinating too ... or in a Warm Water Cure up on the ridge in Canyon 94516 in a physical Harbin Hot Springs' simulacra for ethnographic research too and STEM and social science field site generation

Also, -
Probably lots of physical chemistry and ion knowledge work here in these new TENSOR STORE and brain modeling developments from Google -

Spectacular coding! #RealisticVirtualEarthForBrainScience?

Am seeking to be at your place at 3am on Monday morning to head west on this asylum journey further ... will call you today or tomorrow about this and other WUaS stuff further.

WUaS incubation in Google in Bakery Square when I return from the west coast around Monday Oct 3 2022?

Sincerely, Scott

Dear Larry,

Thank you and see you soon, at 3 in the morning on Monday, 9/26!

How to find a life partner, friend and mom to be when I return from California, and in her mid 20s and a MD OR School teacher, or similar, I wonder? Shady Side Academy or Scottish circles seen like some possibilities.

Would be great to have a great wife for World Univ & Sch ...

Thank you and see you soon,

Scott

Dear Larry,

One of the benefits of such incubation of WUaS by Google re Peter Norvig's Lego Institute 2 - LI2 - is that with WUaS as an official carrier of Lego Robotics, WUaS could possibly reach customers in ~200 countries and their main languages through TensorStore (where 'store' could refer to many things) - https://twitter.com/GoogleAI/status/1573064656914190337?s=20&t=j7Jmscejnp-P8vkQEQUhPQ ...  >

Introducing TensorStore, an open-source C++ and Python library designed for storage and manipulation of n-dimensional data, which can address key engineering challenges in scientific computing through better management and processing of large datasets. https://goo.gle/3Ly9e30

AND

There's SO much potential with #ndimensional #TensorStore for a #RealisticVirtualEarthForLegoRobotics & @WUaSPress is an official carrier of 3 #LegoRobotics' kits, w #PeterNorvig's #LegoInstitute2 #LI2 http://norvig.com/LI2/ too, & regarding #PhysicalDigital #WUaSHomeRobotics!

... all here and much more, in my blog post from today - http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2022/09/magnificent-frigatebird.html?m=0

 - and TensorStore ~and from this expanding cube graphic (great graphic) ~ this cube could expand into all corners of the known universe ... as one mini cube could become earth, with one mini cube becoming virtual India on earth, and one mini mini cube becoming virtual Harbin or similar and 9 cubes becoming planets in hlthe solar system.

Larry, All,

Thanks so much for the ride to the Pgh airport at 3 in the morning. Greetings from Denver, CO.

Could we / WUaS develop a realistic virtual Harbin Hot Springs and for a realistic virtual Harbin ethnographic field site generation in some beautiful architectural pools' area in a basement in Bakery Square, PGH ? ... and for so many aspects of Harbin, but also virtually or digitally ... There could be a lot of space for this in that Bakery Square array of space!

Regarding my Pi cryptocurrency's MINING (clicking 2 buttons every 24 hours) which seems to have stopped, and your suggesting looking this up on the web (and regarding the WUaS Corp potentially listing Pi cryptocurrency on the new Silicon Valley long term stock exchange for all 7.9 billion people on the planet, each a Wikidata PIN #) -

"Did Pi cryptocurrency stop mining?" ... .found this only ...
Nov 27, 2020 — Pi mining will stop when it reaches 1billion active miners..most probably they are planning to launch by end 2021.
...

BUT this INVITATION AGAIN from Stanford Mine PI to you, says they only have 35 million people ....

Could a nation state or 2 have signed on with Pi, but not yet with WUaS Corp ?

And here again -

I am sending you 1π! Pi is a new digital currency developed by Stanford PhDs, with over 35 million members worldwide. To claim your Pi, follow this link https://minepi.com/sgkmac and use my username (sgkmac) as your invitation code.

Friendly regards,

to Larry, Claudia, Edward, Sid, Susan, Janie

Dear Larry, All,

Greetings from a BART train near Downtown Berkeley station... appreciating Bay Area grittiness compared with Pgh Pa grittiness ... Where Canyon CA in the woods is beautiful, but I am leaving fleeing even California fir the time being.

Regarding talking in the car this morning about Stanford Mine Pi cryptocurrency ... ...

Regarding not being able to mine Pi cryptocurrency yesterday 24 hours later, and checking multiple times, and then emailing you below, - I seem to have got a notification 48 hours later. Did I lose out in being able to freely Mine Pi for 5-6 Pi coins yesterday, due to a Pi coding decision possibly?  I have accumulated about 4644 Pi coin, and as we talked about in the car, the 5 digits to the right of the decimal point of my Pi coin accumulation rise continually ... Toward infinity I'd think ... So I say thank you to Pi for the free money so far ... But wonder if it needs or would benefit from some kind of government REGULATION since in a sense I was shorted the opportunity to MINE Pi yesterday ... This may become part of a WUaS Minute for last month   ... And WUaS Corp would do well to code for all 7.9 billion people (https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/You_at_World_University) with ending poverty by distributing Pi to many of the people on the planet in all ~200 countries and speakers of all 7, 151 known living languages ... To possibly seek central banks' or similar regulation (possibly for all cryptocurrencies on the MainNet Blockchain? ... as money is newly defined) ... so people in general don't get shorted for example and also so the mathematics of an infinitely growing currency and its effect on 200 economies and the world economy could be planned for ... Just some thoughts ...

Ed it would be great to see you! :)

Sincerely, abolition-ally, regards,

Scott
