Dar:
Anthro peeps: I would appreciate your suggestions for an anthropology theory course.

I am preparing a core grad seminar this fall for primarily 1st year MA students. I plan to start the course with structuralism and symbolic anthropology before moving through writing culture and the 1990s critiques of culture and then stuff on globalization.

I am having a hard time settling on the key theoretical interventions since the early 2000s.

If you had to recommend one or two articles from the past two decades which would they be?

"Naked Harbin Ethnography:
Hippies, Warm Pools, Counterculture, Clothing-Optionality & Virtual Harbin" (http://worlduniversityandschool.org/AcademicPress.html), which comes into conversation with "Coming of Age in SL" ... both are very theoretically oriented re anthropology theory.
