Join us as Prof. Tanya Clement and Dr. Zoe M. Bursztajn-Illingworth from the University of Texas, Austin, introduce AudiAnnotate, an exciting new tool for scholars, digital humanitarians, musicians, poets, and literature-lovers alike.
This deep dive into close listening will engage participants in a collaborative audio-annotation exercise focused on some of Ralph Ellison's earliest extant recordings, made at Harvard University in August 1953. Attendees will have an opportunity to create their own audio-annotations and learn how to make them discoverable online. They will also learn how to produce individual (or collaborative) audiovisual editions, exhibits, and playlists.
In-Person Attendance: Forum Room, Lamont Library. RSVP requested: slab@fas.harvard.edu. Free and open to the public. No experience necessary. Please bring your own laptop.
