Scott--Thank you for including me on your list for monthly minutes mailings.

I do feel sad that you haven't apparently come further with the advancement of your noble vision.  It's one I do share to a certain extent (I'm much more involved than ever in Multnomah Meeting and pro-immigrant/refugee activities for this area).  So I wish you all success with your endeavor.  And I can't help wondering why you're not achieving greater traction for this very needed and attractive effort.  Board members? Plans and goals? Income and budget?  Any sort of physical headquarters, place for a real office?  Support staff?

Perhaps all that is immaterial, in a few senses, to you.  But I fail to see how you can wiki-wiki up an actual world university, involving actual students without at least a few of these assets and plans I have mentioned.

Academia doesn't seem to reward innovation or good free thinking I guess ... alas ...

Am I bit like Nelson Mandela? ... seeking liberation for all in free highest quality universal education for free degrees in all countries' official languages online, and free wiki schools for open teaching and learning in all 7097 living languages, and am somehow in a kind of 11-year 'prison' for this with no one knowing about or benefitting from these degree opportunities? If blocked, go around - was one thing I learned at UCSB ... How does such blocking work, culturally?
