Great blue turaco: the potential benefits for individuals of online psychotherapy & psychiatry - in all @00 countries' official languages! And mobile technologies make it possible - in this time too of the coronavirus pan-demic - to potentially make available psychiatry both in the city, and in rural remote locations - and potentially highest quality psychotherapy as well!

Tym, Sid, David, Ken, Larry, MDs and All,

As a further followup from April 17, 2020 and regarding making online psychoanalysis and psychiatry available, I suppose it's especially here in Canyon 94516, for example, but also in Quaker circles, bagpiping circles, possibly in circles at Harbin Hot Springs, my ethnographic field site, and possibly on Cuttyhunk Island, MA as well - all somehow 'remote' places or groups 'apart' - that I see the potential benefits for individuals of online psychotherapy & psychiatry. And mobile technologies make it possible - in this time too of the coronavirus pan-demic - to potentially make available psychiatry both in the city, and in rural remote locations - and potentially highest quality psychotherapy as well! (I realize too that Harbin Hot Springs thinking - my actual < > virtual ethnographic field site might offer other completely different approaches to psychotherapy than may be offered in teaching universities' hospitals, in all ~200 countries, for example, - and which is interesting to learn from as well).

I've posted an email and some Tweeter posts below with many further resources and ideas in these regards, including Oregon Health & Sciences' University (for reference, but with nothing online presently) resources. How best to develop approaches that could help people online in these regards?

Am hoping to create much online psychiatry in my big educational project - and potentially even an online California School of Psychoanalysis (post-Lacan, and post-Freud) in all languages - and also to begin to do research about this regarding language and cultural differences in all ~200 countries' official and main languages.

How best to graduate excellent Quaker, Non-theist Friend, and Unitarian psychiatrists in particular, and in many languages? Am posting below many Tweets about online psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychoanalysis ...

Do you think Oregon has success with psychoanalysis, or psychiatry, regarding graduates from OHSU in Portland, for example?). I just looked this department up, and found:

We offer expert consultation, evaluation, and treatment for a wide variety of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, post-traumatic stress disorder, ADHD, and many others. We also provide outcome based measurement care to support patient centered best practice treatment. We have the resources of an academic health center to handle complex conditions that require ongoing psychotherapy, medication management, and options for treatment resistant depression such as Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT). Our clinic also offers neuropsychological and pharmacogenetics testing.

For a brief snapshot of psychiatry in Oregon today, too.

In my teaching of Yoga, I'd also seek to add a western psychiatric component to this (and potentially via WUaS especially).

I was very very impressed with adolescent psychiatrists Dr. Karriem Salaam a few years ago, and I'd think that Friends' Hospital has many excellent head psychiatrists. The video of Dr. Salaam is impressive here in a related Tweet (from 9 Sep 2018):

"How to prepare your kids for life on their own ahead of college - from Friends Hospital in Philadelphia, one of America's oldest hospitals:
Dr. Karriem Salaam gives some tips on preparing your children for life on their own. http://fox29.com/good-day/355005577-video… > https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/The_College_at_World_University_and_School … ~"
