Just playing my Scottish Small Pipes and a full long Piobaireachd classical Scottish Bagpiping piece... and because I started earlier today I was able to practice the Crunluath a Mach movement at the end more slowly than the first time, and especially work on the high hand's fingering... Navigating feelings too, by playing earlier in the day, and aiming to play for 45 minutes all told, perhaps the rest of this before bedtime. Made a connection with Tom McNalley MD at UCSF )who knows Byron Hann MD too), a Reedie and friend from my year in Munich LMU and the Reed College program there, when I lived with a Quaker family for my last 2.5 months there. Tom became a MD in Iowa years after graduation from Reed in German, and is a physiatrist and a new Prof at UCSF too ...
