This lead to my recalling and finding an article about my piping here in Moraga in 2013 -

(which Canyon neighbor and resident Christine Lavin wrote, and which mentions World University and School) - near my home in Canyon.

Could this lead further to a home in Canyon 94516 even (with Byron & Cindy living about 4 miles away:)? Thanks to the AI selectors of these photos at Google.

Good I think to share these on Twitter TOO - about 'my home in Canyon 94516'

Dear Ma, Ed, pin, Tym, Larry, All,

Am wondering how this home of mine in Canyon 94516 could become a vibrant World Univ & Sch multimedia center as well - to help grow WUaS in offering online Wiki schools, and free-to-students' online degrees, in ~200 countries and 7,139 living languages, in a project-able interactive single realistic virtual earth:

Could its shop become digital virtual STEAM field sites and classrooms for music-making, hospital-'teachnologies,' brain science (begin to look inside the brain FROM the inside) and at the cellular and atomic levels too, and so much more related to the physical world made digital, the actual earth, transposed virtually and made interactive and learnable in new ways (see the #realisticvirtualearth for ... links here worlduniversityandschool.org) with Google Street View with time slider, Maps, Earth, TensorFlowAI translate+? Here's the idea of capturing a room in 3D -https://techcrunch.com/2014/02/21/heres-an-actual-3d-indoor-map-of-a-room-captured-with-googles-project-tango-phone/amp/ . And now how to project this, for ex., inside the shop at 670 Ridgecrest Road?

Just got a haircut recently, and went over yesterday near Canyon 94516 to the Valle Vista Staging Area for a hike, and took these related pics - https://photos.app.goo.gl/sehQ8PVnQbTBo2NHA. Could one even project these pics of the head I think of the Upper San Leandro Reservoir into the shop at 670 Ridgecrest Rd Canyon CA (or your living room) with slightly moving water to be able to revisit this walk, and do field work too, ie naturalist, artistic, photographic etc ?

Here's another way to think about it - by entering into the art itself in the Louvre

Again, thanks to Google AI for these pics too:

Hi Sri,

Great to hear from you - and great outreach.

Check out the conversation between Neha and Hester here - https://mitbitcoinexpo.org/ - if you can find it, and other videos.

https://twitter.com/neha/status/1378346595582939138?s=20

Neha is the Director of the MIT DCI Digital Currency Initiative, and Hester is a key regulator and lawyer, working with new SEC Chair Gensler:

Hester talks much of a token focus per your - https://www.metapurse.fund/investments.html - but I don't see a token focus with 'Stanford Mine Pi Coin' cryptocurrency.

I searched on
'stanford mine pi cryptocurrency us federal reserve tokens' - and found -

and this from the Stanford Graduate School of Business GSB - which may be some theory behind "Pi"
https://www.gsb.stanford.edu/sites/gsb/files/fin_11_19_cong.pdf

Am still thinking that Stanford Mine Pi Coin' may become adopted by the US central bank, the European Central Bank, and many of the other 200 countries' central banks, with the other 10000s of cryptocurrencies, becoming like numismatics.

Cheers, Scott

It will depend whether the coin will be standalone or be a part of an exchange. Pi might become a good alt coin.

Hi Rifai,

I'm wondering, as you've possibly read, whether Stanford Mine Pi Coin might become listed on the emerging long term Silicon Valley stock exchange, in these regards - and thus be listed on an American exchange. The emerging long term Silicon Valley stock exchange has recently been cleared by the Security and Exchange to become the 14th US stock exchange -

Hi Rifai,

Thanks for keeping me in the loop (other loops).

I've searched on tokens and Stanford Mine Pi Coin, but nothing has come up. I'm keeping my eye also on Hester Peirce (sp?) and similar Federal Researve regulators ... who seemed to be speaking the language of tokens with MIT DCI director Neha Narula in that interview ... So let's see how and where Stanford Law and Pi head, and how Stanford Mine Pi Coin develops. I continue to mine Pi daily (thanks to Tanya S, a WUaS Bachelor's degree student with a Business Major, who may graduate soon if the WUaS-edX develops toward legal documents soon too, and you). Thank you.

Ethics of accepting a prize by philosopher Jürgen Habermas:

Habermas first accepted a prize of $225,000 Euros (which word 'prize' was translated from the German by Google Translate as price) from a UAE Sheik, Mohammed bin Zayed, and later Habermas declined it, due to

"to human rights violations and the poor democratization in the Emirates" ... and the

"very close connection between the institution that awards these prizes in Abu Dhabi and the existing political system was not sufficiently clear to him."

The role of a large sum of prize money and conscientious objection (in a Quaker sense too) of it is fascinating to me here, since morals and ethics, based on newly learned knowledge, seem to be informing philosopher Habermas' decision - and in the context of a EU country, Germany, and an Arab country, UAE - and between these languages, and ethical and legitimizing 'systems' and histories, too. Am not a professional philosopher, as I observed in my questions at the close of a recent series of Harvard Philosophy talks - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2021/04/african-grass-owl-harvard-philosophy.html - but thinking about the implications of where money comes from and what it symbolizes, and even 'buys' seems relevant here.

If somehow I could come into possession of the Canyon 94516 home I refer to before, legally and legitimately, I think this could very well improve the ethics of Canyon, and be consistent ethics-wise for me, and even re my conscientious objection in a variety of (Friendly Quaker-informed) situations too. Ethics and money have moral implications, and even regarding the 'international illegal sex industry' for example - and possibly regarding Canyon 94516. How to significantly lessen such crime and criminality is an interesting question too, and conscientious objection could be one approach, and removing perpetrators from the scenes of the crimes could be another.

Having lived and studied in Germany for a year (1981-82), and been active in an unprogrammed Quaker Meeting there, am appreciative of the role of conscientious objection there too (eg Die Weise Rose - aka 'The White Rose') - and with regard to learning from its history, and good German ethics in general - and about money-issues too.

Here's the article as translated by Google Translate -

Jürgen Habermas:
German philosopher does not want to accept the Arab book price

Jürgen Habermas was supposed to receive the highly endowed Sheikh Zayed Book Award at the end of May. After researching the "Spiegel" he now refrains from doing so.

"A wrong decision that I am correcting here": Jürgen Habermas has changed his attitude towards an upcoming honor. © Simela Pantartzi / dpa

The German philosopher Jürgen Habermas does not want to be honored after all: Habermas should actually have received the Sheikh Zayed Book Award at the end of May, an extremely high endowed award with 225,000 euros, but also extremely debatable thanks to its patron Mohammed bin Zayed. Bin Zayed is the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and one, if not the most influential person in the United Arab Emirates.

In an article published on Sunday text had mirror pointed to human rights violations and the poor democratization in the Emirates. According to a checklist by the non-governmental organization Freedom House, the country only achieved 17 points on a democratization scale of a maximum of 100 points. Habermas himself is quoted as follows in the Spiegel article: "Of course I was suspicious and I found out about the institution and the award winners before I accepted the award," he writes. He received his information largely from Juergen Boos, the director of the Frankfurt Book Fair, and also a member of the scientific committee of the Sheik Zayed Book Award.

In a second report on Sunday afternoon, Der Spiegel documented Habermas' change of heart: "I have declared my willingness to accept this year's Sheikh Zayed Book Award. That was a wrong decision, which I am here to correct." The very close connection between the institution that awards these prizes in Abu Dhabi and the existing political system was not sufficiently clear to him.

According to the news magazine, Habermas initially stated that he had "familiarized himself with the last four winners in my category" and that he had "not found a fly in the ointment". Der Spiegel also points out that Habermas implicitly mentioned the Palestinian author Salma Khadra Jayyusi, the Arabists Suzanne and Jaroslav Stetkevych, the Paris Institute du monde arabe and the Lebanese writer Amin Maalouf. However, despite clear demand, he did not mention the "cultural personality" of 2015, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the lyrically ambitious and hard-handed Emir of Dubai
