Cloud Peak Wilderness: [Robot dentist tested in China], World Univ Such Monthly Business Meeting will be live streamed this Saturday * * * Beginning of the online World University Dental School planned in each of all ~200 countries' official languages / 7,111 known living languages (thinking Google Translate here conceptually), as well as with eventual dental robotics, Am curious in particular how related work has been done in the developing world, and how this might help the 4 billion people who might not have physical mailing addresses, let alone access to excellent dentistry, brainstorming-wise. With dental schools one can seek somewhat A) reduced cost care from residents / students, B) find a host of specialists, and C) get access to dentists who have published / teach (i.e. highest most skillful achievers) - all in one network / culture, Waiting for actual-virtual, physical-digital pixel medicine some years out - which could somehow emerge from this ... https://www.technologyreview.com/f/613495/google-backs-a-bid-to-use-crispr-to-prevent-heart-disease/ - and for dentistry too! :), For driverless dentistry vans in all ~200 countries ... and for the est. 4 billion people who don't have mailing addresses relating potentially to availability of dentistry ...

Here's the beginning of the online World University Dental School - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/World_University_Dental_School - planned in each of all ~200 countries' official languages / 7,111 known living languages (thinking Google Translate here conceptually), as well as with eventual dental robotics. (Accessible from - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Courses and "Courses & Schools" here http://worlduniversityandschool.org/. Am curious in particular how related work has been done in the developing world, and how this might help the est. 4 billion people who might not have physical mailing addresses, let alone access to excellent dentistry, brainstorming-wise.

Thanks, Kurt, so much for the very helpful information.

It seems like with dental schools - UCSF, Dugoni etc. - a patient can seek somewhat A) reduced cost care from residents / students, B) find a host of specialists, and C) get access to dentists who have published / teach (i.e. highest most skillful achievers) - all in one network / culture. Thank you again.

Appreciatively, Scott

PS
In that World Univ & Sch is CC-4 MIT OpenCourseWare-centric in 5 languages (as well as Stanford Medicine and Law-centric), partly for their excellence, may head to UCSF, since WUaS is seeking to collaborate also with the 10 University of California's re:

For driverless dentistry vans in all ~200 countries ... and for the est. 4 billion people who don't have mailing addresses relating potentially to availability of dentistry ... and in a virtual world too?
