Hi Pin, Tym, David and All,

Nice to get your email, Pin!

It looks like my mother and I will get to DC in the late afternoon on Thursday, 12/26/19, and be staying at Days Inn in NW DC, close to where my 2nd cousin, Karen Leighty and family, live, and with whom we'll do much in DC. Pin - a possible visit (lunch, tea, dinner?) in Baltimore on our way back on Sunday the 29th (with Mr. and Mrs. Mazumdar, Marti and Pat and families too if also in the Chesapeake Bay area) - or meet in DC, before?

David, and Tym, get together on Fri, the 27th, or Sat, the 28th, and possibly re multiple museum visits together, and other urban adventuring-forth in DC too, and with families? (David - a visit to Sidwell Friends' Meeting House, for example - might there even be a cafe there which could be open over the Christmas holidays?:)

Looking forward to seeing you! :)

With very best wishes, and Season's Greetings (holiday letter to come)!
Scotty

WUaS - World University and School
10:28 AM (52 minutes ago)
to Markus, Denny, Larry, Peter, Aleš, Magnus, Peter, Lydia, MacLeod, Scott, Chris

Chris, Aleš, Markus, Denny, Lydia and All,

Magnus Sälgö just connected with me again in Telegram (see below) re SINGLE family tree questions in WikiTree, presumably for 7.5 billion people on the planet, and I wanted to share this with you, as well as let you know why else World Univ & Sch is seeking to develop, brainstorming-wise, with 7.5 billion people. I'm sorry that I don't know Bayesian statistics in these regards>

WUaS is seeking to plan for, brainstorming-wise, coding for all 7.5 billion people for the following reasons:

All 7.5 billion people, each a Wikidata Q-item number (or PIN in the Wikidata ecosystem or similar) for

i) wiki Universitians in 7,111 known living languages, and matriculated students in all ~200 countries,

ii) Avatar Bot Electronic Medical Records, with genetic therapies, and for molecular tele robotic surgery, for ex.,

iii) Universal Basic Income (UBI) experiments (and to alleviate poverty), and to DISTRIBUTE a single cryptocurrency backed by some number of ~200 countries' central banks (where the Euro is in 19 out of 28 EU countries, and backed by their central banks in one way or another) ... and potentially with UBI experiment recipients able, for example, to mine the "Mine Pi" cryptocurrency (as a mineable single cryptocurrency), developed by Stanford graduates, by clicking on the 'lightning button' brainstorming-wise. (See, too, European Central Bank head, Christine Lagarde here -
Watch again: Lagarde on digital currencies

https://twitter.com/ecb/status/1205225680453210112 )

iv) a single family tree for genealogy research as in WikiTree (https://www.wikitree.com, and see too World Family Tree - https://www.geni.com/worldfamilytree), and for aggregating DNA samples too (see item 2 again).
(See, too, the WUaS Annual Meetings' Minutes https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2019/11/arabian-sand-gazelle-minutes-for-annual.html )

Magnus is raising quality and "verifiable in reliable sources" questions re approximately 600,000 entries that were recently added to WikiTree, and how bots didn't work out very well.

I'm including Peter Norvig here too since he may have great knowledge about how to explore proceeding with single WikiTree family tree questions with genetic data - and for all 7.5 billion people on planet earth, as well as re the above WUaS questions. Peter, you're a Bayesian statistician, aren't you? Whom else? Markus?

Thoughts, ideas, questions, clarifications ... ? Thank you.

Best,

IF NOT Wikidata Q-item for 7.5 billion, then WUaS P-item for all 7.5 billion people? . . . WUaS is seeking to plan, brainstorming-wise, for all 7.5 billion people for these reasons, to begin: All 7.5 billion people, each a Wikidata Q-item number for 1) wiki Universitians in 7,111 known living languages, and matriculated students in all ~200 countries, 2) Avatar Bot Electronic Medical Records, with genetic therapies, and for molecular tele robotic surgery, 3) Universal Basic Income EXPERIMENTS (and to alleviate poverty), and to distribute a single cryptocurrency backed by some number of ~200 countries' central banks 4) a single family tree for genealogy research as in WikiTree, and for aggregating DNA samples too

Thanks, Magnus - From WikiTree - https://www.wikitree.com/ - "Welcome to The Free Family Tree, growing stronger since 2008.
Together we're growing an accurate single family tree using DNA and traditional genealogical sources" ... Am curious how WikiTree is planning for a SINGLE family tree re dealing with large amounts of data (which machine learning thrives on), based on their history since '08. About 600,000 entries of 7.5 billion people on the planet is .008 %, and this seems like helpful quantification re aiming for 7.5 billion people in a single family tree, but I don't know Bayesian statistics which seems like it could help further significantly - and potentially with issues of verifiability esp. Mathematics can clear up messes, - especially if museum and university peoples could help with this. World Univ & Sch which donated itself to Wikidata in 2015 and received WUaS Miraheze MediaWiki as a consequence in 2017 aims for 7.5 billion people, each a Wikidata Q-item # (or similarly named, such as PIN - like Personal Identification Number in the Wikidata system) for 4 reasons initially (see: https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2019/11/arabian-sand-gazelle-minutes-for-annual.html). Will email that thread from a few weeks ago about all of this. Tack! Magnus

your case with "all people" will not satisfy "verifiable in reliable sources" —> you ask for a mess.....

Dear Ma (Janie), Tym, Pin, David, and All,

Thanks for your replies in the email thread, Sid (Pin).

Glad to have received this email below, from Brig Alexander (widow of Lacanian psychoanalyst George Alexander MD), on Friday the 13th, and where below you'll also find my reply to her (and with regards to my whistle-blowing in the SF Quaker Meeting in 2017), and in what ways MIT OCW-centric World Univ & Sch seeks to do research into online psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, and in all ~200 countries' main and official languages. Not seeking to do 'return to Freud' research (a quote from Lacan, I think), but rather to explore developing and theorizing psychoanalysis anew and to study this, inter-lingually as well, and potentially with avatar bot psychoanalysts eventually. (Lacan, who has been called, 'subversive' - perhaps to the judgementalism+ of Freudian psychoanalysis, for one, also lived through the radical 1960s and 1970s in French-speaking lands, - may make scientifically studying & measuring outcomes in Lacanian psychoanalysis particularly frought, yet there's much potential anew on the web for research in brand new ways with machine learning and natural language processing, for example).

Does anyone know of budding (successful) approaches to online ('the future is ahead') psychoanalysis organized by any medical schools in any of the ~200 countries in the world? (Am appreciative of the role that licensing by the state can play in MD psychoanalysis in these regards too - and WUaS is planning ~200 online law schools, - potentially to teach about such issues).

Check out the 'longevity' blog label as well - and with regards to the prospect of living beyond 122 years of age, thanks to genetic therapies especially.

Looking forward to seeing some of you over the holidays.

With good wishes for 2020, and Season's Greetings, Scott

Dear Brig, and Caleb,

(Caleb & Martha Johnson Alexander <galexan9@jhmi.edu>)

Nice to hear from you, Brig, and thank you for your email. Would you think swimming or Yoga asana (eg standing poses) would be more advantageous for wobbly wellness, and especially if genetic therapies make it possible to live beyond the 122 years of Jeanne Calment, the oldest documented known French woman? (See, too - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/search/label/longevity).

The language and practices of psychiatry as applied to Quaker Meetings, and other religious organization has much merit to my way of thinking. But whether it be psychosis or pedophilia in Meetings, or churches, or mosques or synagogues, etc., it seems valuable to my way of thinking to seek to protect kids from becoming victims, when possible. (As I was writing this, my smart phone's emergency alert system went off for the first time in what seems like a few years - not sure why in the real time connectivity of the internet). And I write this as a whistle-blower about such issues in the SF Quaker Meeting (in 2017).

Am interested in an ongoing way how psychiatry, psychotherapy, and psychoanalysis, newly online, could be of help to both victims and perpetrators, as well as be studied for efficacy in new ways (since psychoanalysis could be the only therapeutic modality that works, when nothing else works in the psychiatric 'tool kit,' including talk therapy, re the value of language as information technologies between bodyminds). (And World Univ & Sch is interested in doing academic research into some of these questions - especially the efficacy of Lacanian psychoanalysis, online, but also psychiatry in many ways and in many languages).

Season's Greetings to you as well, Brig. And congratulations on your growing extended family. Am glad to say I just sent the 4th book I've written "To the dance or the pools? ~ Virtually! ... " to the publisher. It's in review, and should be public in 72 hours! :) (.... https://www.amazon.com/author/scottmacleodworlduniversity ...) Am heading to Pgh over Xmas and to DC soon thereafter to visit extended family with my mother. Will you all be together over Xmas at Crosslands?

With good wishes for 2020, and Season's Greetings, Scott

Subject: troubles in meetings

Scott,
Meetings having problems with a psychotic or troublesome individual is nothing new. It happened in Pgh Meeting and others that I have heard of. Usually the Meeting community has the resources among its members to figure out the best course of action or non-action. Sometimes local law enforcement has to be called in (rarely). ....It has
nothing to do with psychoanalysis and can't be resolved long-distance. - so pull in your antennae !
Season's greetings to you, Scott. I hear you will be in Pgh for Christmas - maybe the last time in the house in which you grew up. I'm wobbly well and the extended family is well too. Becca became a grandmother recently and I a great -grandmother.
   Good wishes for 2020.

Hi Ma, (and All),

Re-sending with some typo corrections, and adding a bit more ...

Am curious how members of the SF Quaker Meeting could get the psychiatric help they might benefit from (re accountability questions - and both adults and kids even as perpetrators). Am thinking that calling Friends' Hospital (since 1813!) out-of-state from California, could be a way to do this. But I'm speaking from the perspective of having whistle-blown there in 2017, so I'm not clear how members of the Meeting might engage such questions these days (and if there was the threat of force, holding this accountability makes more complex the questions of the Meeting seeking psychiatric assistance).

Am not in a position to suggest this, but Brig Alexander at the Quaker Kendal-Crosslands' Life Plan Community at Kendall at Longwood, for example, or her son Caleb Alexander MD (albeit not a psychiatrist), could be actually in a position to take action, possibly especially because they live at a distance from the SF Meeting, and because Brig headed the Pittsburgh Child Guidance Center, her husband, George, was a psychiatrist MD, and she's a Quaker. And, otherwise, I'm concerned too that the same morass - with same issues at SFFM - could just continue (and possibly not just at SFFM, but throughout the Quaker Pacific Yearly Meeting, as well as possibly other Meetings on the West Coast, and possibly even re FGC - see my 48 page "whistle-blowing" document, which Mary Klein in this email has, from 2 years ago about this), - and without any protection for kids into the future!

How to change the subculture that might have lead to this potential craziness, I wonder?

Just some thoughts ...

What are you up to this weekend? And how was your week?

Fondly, Scott

Hi Ma,
How have your last two long days gone? How are you and how's the weather?
Circling around to this thread from mid-May, am curious how to move beyond even Lacanian psychoanalysis re this helpful overview - https://www.psychiatrictimes.com/psychotherapy/jacques-lacan-best-and-least-known-psychoanalyst - and perhaps with ideas from John Money PhD re online effective measurable psychoanalysis (?), given human individuality, perhaps eventually with AI and machine learning ... and even in a virtual Harbin Hot Springs, depending ...
Appreciating that Friends Hospital (1813) is behaviorally oriented but recognize this only goes so far and might not address issues relevant to someone seeking psychotherapy or psychoanalysis.
Just emailed Carl and Larry:
"Some of the schools (first as wiki subjects) WUaS will begin to develop with time include accrediting and licensing Medicine and Law schools in many languages, including
Psychiatry with ...
Psychoanalysis: http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Psychoanalysis
Seeking to begin the licensing process with BPPE for Bachelor and PhD degrees, which precede medicine and law - planned in all countries' main languages. WUaS is exploring building out of/collaborating with Friends Hospital (1813) in Philadelphia -
For example, see -
"In what ways could Friends' Hospital, the oldest private psychiatric hospital in the nation (1813) https://friendshospital.com/programs-and-services/, best inform ONLINE World University & School Psychiatry https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Psychiatry & in ~200 countries' languages? And Is Friends' Hospital still Quaker?"
https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2019/09/water-striders-eurekalert-mit.html?m=0 - and re my whistleblowing at SFFM with regards to issues with kids, and bringing law and psychiatry to the Meeting."
But psychoanalysis+ given human subjectivity (and theorizing) seems both like it could help people - the only thing that might when other modalities don't - and also deeply problematic for a variety of reasons .... Hmmm
Yet I appreciate the thinking that (Lacanian psychoanalyst MD) George, and Brig, explored in these regards themselves, and for the benefit of their kids who seem happy and in good careers.
Hmmm ... glad we've been thinking along these lines and in medical schools too re psychoanalysis nevertheless. And there's probably already a successful (and also not so) history of practicing psychoanalysis online to build from.
I think thinking about the mind and bodymind is the way to go though.

Am curious how online psychiatry, psychotherapy, and esp. psychoanalysis, could be made better ... and even eventually with seemingly 'sentient' avatar bots ... If someone were seeing a Yale-trained psychiatrist in Marin County a couple of times a year - not psychoanalytically trained - in what ways could such very well-trained and smart MD psychiatrists get access further to online psychoanalytic training, and also help develop related theorizing of online psychoanalysis (eventually in multiple languages) with regards to existing opportunities for psychoanalytic training. An additional two years of psychoanalytic study for certificate, plus two years, 4-5 times per week of being a training analysand online? How could outcomes be measured - re people learning about their own unconscious minds (a goal of psychoanalysis) - and psychoanalysis quality improved especially?

Love, Scott
