Dear All,
Looking forward to seeing you here soon -
meet.google.com/wpn-uztr-qyo - (9:30 am India Time on Wed. 1/13/21, and which is 8pm Pacific Time in the SF Bay Area on 1/12/21 this evening).
There are 22 scheduled languages in India, and in total, "The number of individual languages listed for India is 461. Of these, 447 are living and 14 are extinct." -
https://www.ethnologue.com/country/17-92Am hoping we can learn from CC-4 MIT OCW being translated into between 4 and 10 languages - https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/translated-courses/ - over the past few years, but I don't know this history.
Am hoping too WUaS can possibly engage the edX platform for new courses - and for grades and sign ins, for example - from CC-4 MIT OCW emerging in Tamil, for example, and perhaps this Circuits and Electronics' course first, taught by MIT Prof of EECS, Anant Agarwal -
https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/electrical-engineering-and-computer-science/6-002-circuits-and-electronics-spring-2007/ - as well as possibly using Google Translate and TensorFlow AI, and even engaging Stanford's ethos of education, re enjoyment and excellence (and from which Stanford University, edX CEO Anant Agarwal, has his PhD).
Talk with you soon - in just over 5 hours!
Cheers,
Scott
WUaS Universal Translator (for 7,117 known living languages in Ethnologue, as well as more in ISO 639 and Glottolog)
Beginnings of India World University and School - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/India - planned in all 22 scheduled languages in India, from CC-4 MIT OCW into edX, and similar, and with 10s or thousands of wiki pages too!)
