Is there much Bangla 'poetry philosophy', or academic western philosophy as poetry, I wonder?


It could possibly be interesting to learn what courses in philosophy he took at Harvard in the mid 1890s and regarding happiness in particular 
and then trace forward these academic philosophical influences to his 1927 "The Desiderata" poem when he was 55 yo. But he says much wisely and philosophically in these brief lines. What do you think? Is there much Bangla 'poetry philosophy', or academic western philosophy as poetry, I wonder? (Can't think of much off hand). Have you written any ? (I have 1 long poem on philosophical consciousness in my 4th book of poetry -

Thank you for the links. But can you really capture happiness/Eudaimonia/Nirvana through a formula? Don't think so. Happiness is mostly retrospective – I mean it exists in memory -- one thinks back about a time and realizes that one was happy. It is not a goal, so it is never in front of you.

While I called the Allegheny county police on Thursday to develop an official inquiry into the death of Jackson Shannon and the disappearance of Harold Tyler - were they both murdered regarding the illegal violence industry? - and by a possible criminal serial murderer psychopath? frederic khayat (re email below to Ken Thompson MD, and many friends) - are some questions for which evidence may emerge now with this official police report, and to protect people etc. (whether an eviction of possible murderer(?) (accomplice?) and criminal frederic khayat in other ways??? occurs etc ...)

Thank you for making the hot water work in the kitchen again. And thank you for using the "Pure Drop toilet odor eliminator" in your toilet, as I am using it in my toilet. Due to poor grouting between these two bathrooms, I hypothesize the molecular bonding substance in Pure Drop is working - with consistent use!

... but Hume wasn't a psychiatrist, and he lived in the 'turbulent' 1700s in Scotland and France etc, being born just after the "Act of Union" in 1707, where Scotland lost its independence to England, whereas Lacan MD was a MD psychoanalytic psychiatrist who lived through the freedom-seeking (student) movements of the 1960s and 1970s.

Just revisited and found this video of Lacan giving a public lecture in 1973, and appreciate in particular his interaction with the French hippy youth at about the 20 minutes' mark

but appreciate this Lacan talk in so many other ways. Lacan MD is amazing in some ways, but very French (or Belgian?) and culturally / medically too.

My mother's mentioning the Superbowl last night led me to wonder about Pitt football - and UC Berkeley football too (college) ... and in WUaS calling for ABOLITION, of modern forms of slavery in the illegal sex and drug industries in sports, (professional and college etc), how this abolition would work regarding their latent illegal networks of violence (eg since football is a form of legal violence), and what role even Pitt football and Pitt management of organized crime, could have played in my father's head injuries, the first on Dec 30, 2004 on Pitt managed Semester at Sea. Thanks for wearing your Steeler's clothes on Saturday in this football city, and along with your tartan scarf in this Andrew Carnegie city.

Ken, can I follow up in seeking to talk with you professionally ... and regarding a kind of UPMC protection as they reimburse you, and also regarding a further inquiry into the Univ Pitt Med Ctr's and Pitts' possible roles in organized crime internationally tragically (eg re my father's injuries), - and as we talked about with Univ Pitt Med Ctr now being in 3 US states (PA MD WV) ...and implications for federal law on UPMC esp and regarding state law too newly ... and regarding friend Tym Lenderking (a next possible US Secretary of State?) too turning bright red in a C&O canal huke in Maryland as I mentioned passing  a brand new UPMC in Maryland accidentally and surprisingly to me

The 'dance' meditation in warm water in the Harbin Hot Springs' warm pool (which is a key field site in my Harbin anthropological studies) is very different from Appalachian square dancing (or Scottish Country Dancing) too :)

Won't probably start a wiki subject for square dancing at this point, but you could for Korean soap operas, or Korean Media, or similar for example (since WUaS is wiki and anyone can begin a wiki school or subject, and begin teaching for example to Youtube, or add some resources like Youtubes)
