Crimson columbine: Narendra Modi, the head of India, and now the startup capital of the world is beginning to look like a hippy with its 1.3 billion people, and somewhat religious culture in modernity - .. but in my experience, Indians in large numbers are ur-hippies with their colorful clothing, and often happy celebratory (even trippy in some ways) religious celebrations, so as head of WUaS I'm still on the fence about when or if to cut my growing hair * Personally, if I could, I'd set back the illegal sex trade into the stone age if California law isn't doing the job, re 'under the law' or 'under the radar' stuff and re lack of enforcement - but in all 50 states, and in all ~200 countries ... Ma, All, I think Narendra Modi, the head of India, and now the startup capital of the world looks better with a shorter beard and shorter hair ... but here he's beginning to look like a hippy, as the head of India with its 1.3 billion people, and somewhat religious culture in modernity -

Modi uses Indian symbols effectively in his talks too.

My barber in Berkeley closed with Covid-19, and I think in protest outgoing pres led to my growing my hair long too ... And Covid+19 seems to be bringing him down interestingly ... thanks to the media ...

Did I miss an opportunity on Friday in not applying to become a Stanford CodeX Fellow, and thanks possibly to an opportunity from Stanford Law's Hank Greely and Roland Vogl? I don't think so ... Re WUaS and Stanford climate ... I think WUaS and Stanford will be able to collaborate anyway ...

Heading out for a walk on a beautiful afternoon up to the UU Church of Kensington Berkeley / 1.8 miles each way, and a nice turnaround spot, since it's been closed probably for nearly a year as a place and a building, and probably due to Covid-19 pandemic meme clean up in one way or another (since serious genes of SARS-CoV2, seem to have been released in Wuhan China, and the Veneto/Lombardy Italy area in late 2019 ... sending some ripples through news' media via the internet, and 200 nation states! The future is 'a head,' as George Alexander MD used to quip - and I continue to look ahead to the genetic engineering revolution in this regard a bit, as well as even to starting a family :)

Re the importance of the upcoming Biden/Harris inauguration, re regime change and current pres' incentives to stay in power (which may be ENORMOUS re his wrongdoing and lack of ethics), what precautions against air or sea attacks are there in place? An attack from Russia (re pres-elect connections there 4 years ago), China, a country in the ME, Mexico, US military even???, or domestically from 'Baked Alaska' - nuclear even - would/could probably keep him in power in one swell goop, and he would have left that morning avoiding fallout. Organized via the internet /dark web? 

How are you all, esp in the greater DC area in the unfolding covid-19 pandemic meme US 'clean up', and genetic engineering revolution?

Honestly, what would be the reason for Russia or China to attack us? The 45th President has done so much to weaken our influence on the rest of the world, hollow out our own economy and erode our civil society that a physical attack would be an unnecessary waste of their resources.  Social media gave them a bellows to blow on the embers of division; a cheap and effective way of accelerating Trumps dumpster-fire of a presidency.

I doubt if Canada or Mexico would have any interest in annexing us.  

Have a cuppa, rest easy, and hope for an early spring.

Appreciating your feedback (re feedback loops) and reasoning. Lots of 💕 lines of reasoning 'out there' (and when power plays a role - these unexpected unpredictable lines of reasoning or code may or can grow more extreme) and regime changes in a counter-balancing super nation states' loss of its federal capitol would change any balancing of power among 200 countries dramatically,  that might have emerged in last 4 years. Will to power re many nation states'? So glad we have 200 nation states' meeting - it's been awhile since the Golden age of the city state in ancient Greece, Athens, as polity!? 

Did some repub coupla film directors get some good footage on Wed 1/6/21 re my  kicking the tires' hypothesis to pay an ENORMOUS legal bill post 1/20/21 for the wrongdoing pres? And if things had gone awry? Related
