I'm excited for the potential of 'Semantic Wiki' in developing World University and School in a new wiki, and, here with Kingsley Idehen's programming observations and links below, for example, vis-a-vis ...

Semantic Web & Identity

Here are links to documents that demonstrate how the combined prowewss of HTTP URI based denotation, Linked Data based structured data representation, entity relations semantics (expressed using RDF), PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), and TLS (implemented across all major user HTTP agents) to address the thorny issue of Web-scale verifiable identity.

Using our YouID app [1] for iOS, I am able to generate Identity cards comprised of claims that I can then verify (using relation semantics) across an HTTP network (e.g. World Wide Web). The steps are as follows:

[1] Generate Identity Card -- this includes using OAuth to interact with a choosen social media service to obtain profile data which is imprinted into a locally stored identity card that's paired with a public HTML5 document (a mirror of the public component of the claims stored on my iPad or iPhone)

[2] Verify Identiy Card Claims -- this is where HTTP URIs, Linked Data, TLS, and entity relation semantics come into play via the WebID+TLS extension to TLS (which simply performs a lookup of an HTTP URI embedded in the local identity card en route to testing that claims in the public profile document mirror identical claims in the local identity card).

Here are the results of the steps above:

[2] http://t.co/blRHedhIYH -- Successful Verification of Identity Card Claims (using WebID+TLS protocol)

[4] http://t.co/om6TdD9pRr -- Vapour verification of the JSON based Linked Data that provides my HTML5 based Identity Card

As main (and long term) goals, WUaS would like to combine MIT OCW
(http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/audio-video-courses/) with MIT OCW in multiple languages

with Wikidata / SEMANTIC MediaWiki

for interlanguage wiki open teaching and database (and to collaborate with the far-reaching Wikimedia / Wikicommons), with Quickbooks and Quickbooks Multistore (again in multiple languages) for online bookstore/computer store and possibly with Google + for You at WUaS
(http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/You_at_World_University) as well as Google in other ways, but also possibly in SemanticMediaWiki ...

and all with remarkable developing design features and design to attract matriculating students.
