Pacific ocean: Very nice playing and singing of (crunluath fosgailte Piobaireachd piece) The Little Spree * * * is London alienated as a city?

Taylor,

Very nice playing and singing of (crunluath fosgailte Piobaireachd piece) The Little Spree yesterday. I appreciate it very much also because it's your 'voice' ... from the inside ... Am seeking now further how to teach how individuals can learn to play and sing (sign too) in the direction of further BEAUTY ... (what is beauty, what is beauty in Piobaireachd, and how can the Cantaiireachd and Piping come into conversation with each other in these regards?).

Regarding Corrienessan's Salute - and learning directly to one's inner ear (per Stuart Liddell) without too much sheet music in-between - I find Robert Watt's beautiful NONMENSURAL playing of this piece tremendously beautifully played - compared with Neil Clark's. I'm asking myself why is Watt playing lovely in comparison (to my ear)? Much listening to these recordings before next Thursday? (But I also think Clark's playing is more helpful for learning, than Watt). How to begin to play Piobaireachds masterfully (to 'steer' them in a sense musically, and as a consequence of the learning process:)?

Piobaireachd and playing a musical instrument and learning it are a gift, a wonderful gift :)

Cheers,
Scott

PS
Wells Fargo stopped sending emails to my main gmail account recently, for a while, but then started again ... did you receive the Zelle request yesterday, by any chance? Thank you!

is London alienated as a city?

London's loneliness epidemic | London City Hall

This-ee here says yes ...

Oct 31, 2019 — The London Assembly has today called on the Mayor to deliver an ... vibrant cities in the world, but it can also be a lonely and alienating ...

Is the SF Bay Area as a big mega-city post-'60s alienated too? Perhaps ...

But London can also be a thriving, happening city compared with the north ... (And cities in general can be - if one comes to see and engage them this way ... So much is happening in them :)

What can we create newly via the web for people to connect and feel connected flourishingly ? (And can we ride the above bus for 24 hours VIRTUALLY to see how far we get?:)

How about an extraordinary realistic virtual Harbin for connecting -

Here's a philosopher at Cambridge, Jessie Munton, who just posted this -

Things no-one else is crazy enough to be doing right now: final prep for a trip to answer one of the great unanswered questions: just how far can you travel by bus from London in 24hrs? I *think* I know on paper, but in practice…? Follow along from 3am as I slowly go mad. #bus24 https://t.co/Ga8hzYwgP6

And Cambridge Philosophy is looking for an ethicist -
The philosophy faculty at Cambridge is looking to hire a University Lecturer with research and teaching strengths in ethics. Closing date is 12 October: https://t.co/VMqKDxDi0d

Glad to see in aging reversal geneticist George Church's Harvard Med Sch Lab his team -

And I think the ethicist he has at his side (I've read) is one

Am hoping World Univ & Sch can get a Grants's Manager (like in Church's lab at top of team) early in our hiring process too!
