My mother and I went out for a nice birthday dinner in her nearby town of Oakmont yesterday evening 12/31/23 ... but we skipped desert (for me partly re calorie restriction) ... and as I dropped her off at her place (re her generally not driving after dark) ... she gave me two yummy homemade fruit bars you had made and sent, I think, ... reminding me of all the wonderful German Chocolate Cakes my mother has made me over the years on my birthday!
