In June 2011, I had more than an hour long talk with former Reed College President Colin Diver in his office in Eliot Hall (a few weeks after Reed's Centennial, on a second trip to the NW, as I was heading to the Rainbow Gathering that year in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest)
