Hyacinth macaw: No nudity in the new Stanford Library Harbin photos that I've seen so far, Ethno-wiki-virtual-world-graphy is such a big bear of idea ... in all 7,099 languages and for STEM research and as a classroom ... and re Harbin nudity, er rather, clothing-optimality er, rather clothing-optionalness ... Can we animate into 3D avatar bots some of Bob Fitch's pics? '60's Harbin informs 1972-Now, big time ... in a realistic virtual earth?, And in a parallel way, if on the ethnography side of things, I were to post my 354 page book in a wiki for commenting and marking up and then possibly printing in completely new book ways .... to complement the group-building of a virtual Harbin / Earth

The frequency-vibration of those Harbin Commune pictures , seem like they were in a parallel universe of time/space ... I felt like a ghost looking at the pictures ... only a small trace of recognition to the Land of Harbin today.

Heartsong (who came to Harbin in around 1980 and has been there pretty much ever since)

{I'm so sorry the devastating Valley fire happened, and that Harbin was razed}.

No nudity in the Bob Fitch Harbinger Commune photos from 69-70 that I've seen so far in the Stanford Library photos - http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2017/04/okopipi-harbinger-commune-new-photos.html - although such photos are probably there, Heartsong ... glad Stanford is thinking through how to represent nudity on the web - and 're possibly a realistic virtual earth ... that might come alive in an interactive 3D virtual earth for STEM, ethnographic  and linguistic research ...

Is Harbin's burnt earth recent history continuing 're sacred Harbin land - and especially since the '60s and these pics? ... the earth remembers, scorched earth policies for capitalism or not - and ecological human primatology unfolds Harbin-wise too ... even in this re-development phase - the new sacred Harbin land will emerge from the old, I say ... but probably very differently ... ah the waters ...

Hoping to revisit Harbin land in a realistic virtual Harbin from my bathtub (needs to become bigger!) ... in 1969, 1975, 1995-4 (about when I first came), 2098 and 2013, for example ...

But wanting too to be soaking in the waters in the vibe of the Harbin (HCC and with even the missing ministers of NACOB:) ... Can we animate into 3D avatar bots some of Bob Fitch's pics? '60's Harbin informs 1972-Now, big time ... in a realistic virtual earth?

His (Bob Fitch's) timing was impeccable - he died in 2016 in Watsonville (with a NYT's obit no more or less) - why didn't I hear about him and these photos until yesterday? I would have gone to Watsonville to talk ... (my landlord used to hAve a sailboat making shop there ... but maybe all's well that ends well)

From Harbinger commune to Harbin 72-2015 (including HCC / NACOB) - what did those hippies do to what have we now there? ... and all in a realstic virtual earth Harbin (with time slider) to come ... from anthropology to history to digitality   ?

... a parallel universe of time/space ... From Harbin ghosts of 60's past, to New Age avatars

Ethno-wiki-virtual-world-graphy is such a big bear of idea ... in all 7,099 living languages and for STEM research and as a classroom ... and re Harbin nudity, er rather, clothing-optimality er, rather clothing-optionalness ...

And in a parallel way, if on the ethnography side of things, I were to post my 354 book ~ http://bit.ly/HarbinBook  @HarbinBook ~ in a wiki for commenting and marking up and then possibly printing in completely new book ways .... to complement the group building of a virtual Harbin / Earth (in something like Google Streetview/Maps/Earth with time slider, and like OpenSimulator / SL where we could all parallel build, add photos and videos - realistically).

All of this as advertising? ... hmm ... I don't see it ... Academic research and advertising today vs 1970s? vs 1950s vs 1920s? vs 1890s? Marx was writing in the 1860s ...

My actual-virtual Harbin ethnography is anthropology, as is ethno-wiki-virtual-world-graphy ...
