Hi Ma and Sandy, 

Good afternoon. As I work on my A) next blog post today, my B) next book of poetry (Harbin-centric too), and play for my C) upcoming Scottish small pipes' album in 2020 - and wait for World Univ & Sch to become financially operational - I found myself yesterday beginning to gather together ideas about wisdom which I've found somehow both freeing, possibly positive, connecting and smart too both culturally and intellectually, and added them here: https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2019/10/termite-cathedrals-networks-in-nature.html. Added a new 'wisdom' label in my blog recently too. Where do you both head re the idea wisdom (possibly written in words)?

Have been getting a chuckle out of it ... and when might we be going to explore making bioluminescent spiders together virtually, Sandy? 

Stanford faculty senate may have met yesterday, and I've been seeking to begin a fairly serious ethics' investigation there, which I texted about to Ma recently -
"Hi Ma,

How are you? I have a fairly serious ethics' and legality inquiry and investigation in to the Stanford faculty senate which I'm waiting to hear back about, as you may have read. These process questions will also inform World Univ & Sch process for related questions - so something to  learn from for WUaS - and maybe in moving toward justice, fairness and law. I'm not an appreciator of the sex trade,  for example. Sending love, Scott" 

So as I wait to hear back, am wondering and hoping that a kind of WUaS log jam in a lake of 12 years of no harvesting may open and that World Univ & Sch will become financially operational. How to move from laws to a culture re dealing with issues that harm people ... and then to freedom or a flourishing culture and re Taoism, I wonder?

Am reminded of Lao Tzu's "Tao te Ching" a book I'm inspired by, and wisdom-wise too, re law into culture:

So what's the 'culture' idea here in contemporary and understandable words ? ...  something about a kind of vision for a better world that for me emerges out of the 1960s and '70s (may be in aspects of unprogrammed Friends as well for me) ... and which even significantly changed the course or law and legal history in this country and around the world ... a kind of 'communitas' in society-cultural processes ... :)
