Hi Janelle,
I just removed you from the WUaS Friends Association of Higher Education list per your request.
Thank you, Scott
Please note for George Fox University graduates that World University and School is also planning for free-to-students' PhD programs this autumn 2021, and based on something like CC-4 MIT OpenCourseWare, in its ~32 departments, into edX courses to begin

- Ph.D. Degrees at World University and School: https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Ph.D._Degrees_at_World_University_and_School

And WUaS is also planning online Law Schools and Medical Schools, potentially even licensed and accredited in California (possibly via the California Bar Association initially) and Oregon, but these probably won't start for a few years -

World University Law School: https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/World_University_Law_School

World University Medical School: https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/World_University_Medical_School

Quakers - Religious Society of Friends -
https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Quakers_-_Religious_Society_of_Friends (not very much MIT OpenCourseWare or similar on either of these wiki subject pages yet, and is also planned in many languages)
(accessible from https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Subjects )

UBI Experiment for WUaS

Hi !

I have been experimenting with cryptocurrencies as an alternative currencies with inspiration from projects like gooddollar.org

If you are interested in building a cryptocurrency with no value to be used for an ICO, I could help out as I have launched my first coin as a prototype.

Combining this with crowdfunding and investing in cryptocurrencies could help WUaS in the long run. You can also start accepting cryptocurrencies as donations after creating an account.

Regards

Rifai

P.S: I will need the following info

Coin Full Name Eg: WUaS Coin
Coin Short Form Eg: WUaS
Total Number Of Coins
No Of Denomination Places
Description Of Coin
Coin Creator
Coin Site
Coin Email
Logo

Hi Sri,

With WUaS's Google-centricity, and Stanford-centricity, too, I think building on "Stanford Mine Pi" especially for coding reasons for quantum security, for example, - as well as for the possibilities of it becoming backed by most of 200 countries' central banks ... and re alleviating poverty worldwide among all 7.8 billion has much merit.

Thank you for the idea, nevertheless.

Regards, Scott

Hi !

Thank you for the feedback. Anyway it is better to consider accepting donations in other cryptocurrencies like bitcoin while working on Pi as it will not have much value.

Bitcoin reached nearly $55,000 per coin.

Hi Sri,

Thanks too for your feedback. WUaS isn't thinking yet about accepting cryptocurrencies as donations.

If WUaS can begin to get reimbursement for CC-4 MIT OCW-centric courses toward free-to-students' degrees first in the edX platform, WUaS will seek this first in dollars from all ~200 nation states, but if most central banks start to 'back' a single cryptocurrency, I'd bet this could be Stanford Mine Pi, and WUaS could become a way for all 200 countries to think about and code for this transition. Would Good dollar, etherium, ripple, bitcoin all become like ancient coins from different regions - numismatics, with their own markets of buyers and sellers around the world? Possibly.

Speculatively, would Stanford Mine Pi come to supersede the Euro currency in 19 out of its 28 nation states? Possibly ...

I continue to mine Stanford Mine Pi daily, and my Pi increases too ... thanks to you Tanya S, and you. Am going to continue to mine "Stanford Mine Pi" daily (and wait for being able to buy things with it), until I learn of a cryptocurrency that gets legitimacy or credibility legally from the USA or some of the other ~200 countries in the world (such as the Euro zone, for example).

Thank you.

Hi Sri, Universitians, and All,

Rifa (aka Sri) in Sri Lanka, head of Sri Lanka WUaS there, and I have been emailing a bit about cryptocurrencies, and it seems like these are a potentially interesting aspect of partnering with WUaS too - and regarding all of our countries and a variety of languages too. Here's my email to Sri from this morning ...

Hi Sri,

Was glad to attend this Stanford conversation yesterday "Resurrecting the Promise of Forty Acres" -  and even regarding reparations to Black Americans for the legacy of slavery. As you'll read below, I ask about Stanford Mine Pi in these regards, and WUaS Press / WUaS Corp may seek to list as an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the emergent Silicon Valley LONG-TERM stock market, with the Pi cryptocurrency, and in planning for it in most of all ~200 countries and in their languages, and backed by their central banks. This worldwide cryptocurrency would distributed via UBI experiments to alleviate poverty ... so I'm going to pass on on your offer. Thanks.

Such a rationale as reparations would potentially help Stanford Mine Pi to grow, possibly superseding the US dollar, and similarly with alleviating poverty.

Hi Rifai, Universitians, All,

Thanks for these MIT Digital Currency Initiative courses  https://dci.mit.edu/courses .>  https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Banking_and_Money ...

Know anyone in Sri Lanka who might be interested in studying some of these, and in English, and in Sinhalese - and on the edX platform too? Budding programmers? Prospective Bachelor and PhD students from Sri Lanka, for free-to-students' degrees ... possibly with parallels to taking an accounting degree for example?

I wonder how Stanford Mine Pi will emerge in these MIT and related courses, and what's ahead for developing digital currencies (re quantum security, and a myriad of other issues post paper fiat or bills, and metal coins etc.)? And will most of ~200 countries adopt a single cryptocurrency - and post Euro in 19 out of 28 nation states?

And could the minable Stanford Mine Pi especially be used to alleviate poverty regarding UBI experiments? Here's MIT DCI director Neha Narula again - https://twitter.com/neha/status/1363997101189963777?s=20 and a related https://twitter.com/mitDCI/status/1364983823365201928?s=20
- with a concert Tweet from 2007 ... could concerts reaching youth in all 200 countries be paid for by Stanford Mine Pi - to get Pi into widespread circulation - and by young people too, active digitistas ? In Sri Lanka? And what if you could use digital currency like Stanford Mine Pi to buy just part of a live concert ON THE FLY (a bit like Grateful Dead concerts were recorded freely by fans or Deadheads ... and which may have led to the Grateful Deads' popularity in the 1960s and '70s ...)

"At almost every Grateful Dead show, it was common to see fans openly recording the music for later enjoyment. This can be traced to shows in the late 1960s, with the number of tapers increasing yearly." - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deadhead

Please let me know some of your thoughts on these questions, Rifai, and All.

Scott

Hi ! Some Central Banks are working on Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) projects and other banks have started accepting Bitcoins as assets.

Pi might reach $1 but it will not be accepted right now. MIT OCW has got a few courses on cryptocurrencies. Can add them for starters.

Rifai,

Thanks for the further cryptocurrency information, especially regarding Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) - https://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/central-bank-digital-currency-cbdc.asp .. As you may have read WUaS would seek to alleviate poverty via Universal Basic Income Experiments, distributing a single worldwide mineable cryptocurrency in most of 200 countries backed by their central banks, and for speakers of all 7117 known living languages - each person among all 7.8 billion a Wikidata Q-item # or  Wikidata PIN # or similar.

If WUaS can connect this digital cryptocurrency accessible on mobile phones with free universal education - both on our Wiki side in all 7117 living languages, and our free university degrees' side (Bach., PhD, Law, MD, and IB, in all 200 countries' official and main languages - and if this could be highest quality - that would be great. Stay tuned.
